Making "Dora lived!" my motto for Pride Month 2025.

Dora Richter was one of the first women to undergo gender-reassignment surgery. She someone who didn't seek fame or notoriety, but was nonetheless a pioneer that modern day queer people are deeply indebted to. For years, her fate was unknown. It was often assumed that she'd been murdered by the Nazis.
