A Pitbull from a neighbor down the street was so traumatized from the thunder and lightning that he squeezed underneath his fence and had dove under a few other gates, fences and random objects in a desperate attempt to escape the painful, panic attack inducing cracks of thunder and bright flashes of lightning, he had definitely thumped his head pretty good and knotted. I try to be gentle and not press on the knot, but I'm still trying to calm him down by stroking his head and neck and chest. I'm doing my best. Mind you I might have "met" this Pitbull once before. But when the thunder claps, I don't know for sure this powerful Pitbull who's scared outta his poor mind, won't just freak out and aggressively bite my groin, or leg. It was a very bad feeling. But it was worth it to be able to comfort this Pitbull when he was clearly panicking about the storm. ✌️
