Jennie blinked up to Caseyâs mussed looking state and could only guess what she was up to. Either she had just come back from either an intense dream or a work out. Jennie herself could relate to at least one of those scenarios.
âAccording to the vcr itâs a little past three, but that thingâs too outdated to be trustworthy.â The undead brushed off some of the left over kernels- why had she even popped this? she must look silly with it - and offered the seat beside her. âStill itâs pretty late. Whatâre you doing up? I canât imagine you were doing any security stuff since weâre all stuck indoors.â
âWait, this place has a VCR?â Casey squinted. On the one hand, she appreciated old tech for their nostalgic value, but practically-wise there wasnât much use for them. Casey herself barely came to the game room, days off where she was exceptionally bored were the exception so it wasnât really surprising that she missed the outdated VCR. âUgh, yeah Iâm not trusting that thing.â Although she wouldnât be surprised if it was that late.Â
âNah, security detail ân shitâs on the back burner. Canât really do anything good when itâs like this. Went to the gym instead.â she explained as she made her way over once Jennie offered them a seat. âWhat are you doing up?â she asked as she sat lazily plopped down on the other end of the couch.Â
