Project admitted to POR Campania 2000-2006 European funding programme, concerning the incentive to Integrated Projects for Regional Parks for Craft, Trade and Services Sectors, to Support the development of micro-enterprises in national and regional Parks. It encompasses gallery and art printing activities for the promotion of nationally and internationally established contemporary artists through exhibitions and graphic works production, using advanced and flexible technology machineries, combined with qualified professional experience in the field of graphic printing and with excellent distribution of roles within the company, which enables a management inspired by total quality. The base is located in a historic area in the town of Vitulano, the Fuschi hamlet, a place rich in valuable artistic architectural heritage; the building is of rare beauty and its reactivation has given new prestige to the hamlet where it resides. The building is organised on two levels: a manufacturing area with a raw materials warehouse is located on the ground floor and equipped with screen printing and intaglio printing machineries, while the upper floor includes a semi-finished and finished products storage area, an operational office for CAD reproduction and printing of drafts and films, and an administrative area with offices and an adjoining exhibition hall for events and expositions. The load-bearing structure of the building has retained its original appearance; the interior arches, the local stone façades and the old brick oven regained their deserved shine after the renovation, thus respecting the project designers’ will. The base is an evocative place for once it was not only the Turesi residence, but also the centre of all their production activities, such as: winemaking, storage of the fruits of the earth and tannery for leather processing. The property itself was the inspiration for the official logo and became the symbol of CASA TURESE gallery art editions, thus creating a dialogue between past, present and future.
