Full Breakdown of VisonQuest trailer - this is the breakdown of individual scenes I'll do a more clear breakdown of each story line of this movie later. (ignore my occasional commentary)
We open in a bar in scotland and if you need your memory jogged, it’s one Wanda and Vision used to frequent during the time jump between Civil war and Infinity war
I presume Vision got a job there for sentimental reasons and him being in Scotland is def to play into Tommy’s actor being Scottish himself as well as nod to their history
Vison as we know created a home in his own mind frequented by AIs F.R.I.D.A.Y, J.A.R.V.I.S, Ultron, DUM-E, LJ, E.D.I.T.H (the butler, the women, the old man, the bearded worker, the none bearded worker )
Vision is trying to understand his previous self’s life as he remembers it but cannot feel it the way he once did “have his face but not his virtue” - Vision from the hex gives his memories to him and he left to understand them
Ultron comes in an almost Agatha like role, without all the good qualities. Where he able to guide vision but only for his own gain and uses the idea of being his father and hence having knowledge and connection to stick around (I doubt Vision feels the sentimentality but on objective quality he thinks he needs Ultron to understand)
Vision also appears to be struggling with the concept that his family wasn’t real up until well…
Ultron somehow has tracked Tommy who def is more Vison cause Billy and Wanda would not have gone to the police (well correction Tommy is in custody from “drowning” in the pool by those kids most likely and the police are asking for a family or they're gonna drop him in foster care etc… so maybe Billy would do it to if the roles were reversed but he would lowkey play along and then run w/out Speed (stupid pun ik, I feel psycho now that the trailer I’ve been waiting life times for is out)
One thing about the scene where Vison finds out is that the area he’s in is all glitchy meaning Ultrons in control so he’s capable of hijacking the home aka Vison’s mind
ALSO total family feels when he straight up jets to get Tommy like I cried when I watched this trailer
In other news there is the Shadow in the house which could be real or be an idea of a virus and evil version of Vision etc..idk
WANDAAAA but probs just Ultron
Wanda while she generally may be what the red indicates and she is obviously a huge part of this (though she’ll probs only come back in Doomsday) is most likely not there and we have to remember that Ultron had a complete fascination with Wanda and Vision and he has red eyes. We know that a firewall is triggered so there is a virus that Ultron and an unknown enemy brought in
Right so I know at first glance the only enemy is Ultron and that the Shadow just passes on but moments in this indicate that While Ultron may be a potential obstacle at times he is the lesser Villain, the moment where he tells Vision that he must free them from presumably the Virus which I honestly think the mimicry of Wanda is how it got in. Wanda has always been an exception to Vision’s mind other than his own children the virus in some capacity has used that to get through or Marvel is trying to troll us probs both
Tommy also appears in danger
Most of the sights such as the city seem to be in Vison’s head but any scene with Tommy must be outside (way to state the obvious)
The story is about Vison finding himself
Tommy was at the police station for psyche eval
Tommy is now Thomas Shepherd (suprise surprise)
So we know they meet over a series of days with one seen Tommy is in a blue button up and his hair is longer possibly meaning it’s been a few months and he’s possibly in foster care due to the bedroom like environment and the odd look on his face.
The storm is an indicator of how stable the mind is
Vision is possessed and whether that be by ultron or the other virus idk but I just have a gut feeling that there’s another enemy other than ultron
Whatever the threat is it extends beyond Vision’s mind as Tommy is also in danger from it
Tommy shows up with a much more in character casual look
Random man has a ripoff Daredevil mask and dangerous weapon so that’s probs the threat to Tommy but also I wonder if they’ll cover the Tommy being in prison for enhanced kids part? Maybe it’s a prison guard (way to unlikely don’t mind me)
The house is falling apart
Huge countryside mansion possibly a school? Or it’s a apart of vision’s mindscape, man with a floppy hat that i can’t name rn is in there
There is a paper called the Vision Today that is read by DUM-E while he and LJ are in an outdated control room where they answer the phone. The outdatedness means it may be during the mental lockdown
They take a plane to a city?
THE SCENE. Right so I highly doubt and am incredibly skeptical but at 1:44 there is a scene where Tommy walks into a room seemingly lit by dozens of candles and guess who would do that? Billy maybe a seance or tracking spell? That room appears to be a children’s room judging by the wall paper but also the drawings could be runes but take it with a lot of salt. Once again Tommy is in far more casual clothes than the first in person shot
Vision in his actual Visionness is eventually back and he seems to be about to beat the virus who idk
Tommy eventually appears to find out about the mental gymnastics happening in Vison’s mind and he is def pissed about Ultron living in his brain
Vison’s outside form has a series of events where he seems in pain as if being attacked by either the outside threat that we aren’t aware of yet or simply the mental shit is getting to him
For some reason their at a blacktie event which is probably where they took the plane too, maybe looking for info on Wanda or Billy or tracking the threat
Ultron is literally steering Vision’s mind at one point and Ultron’s physical form attempts to kill an upgraded Vison which happens after he finds himself etc…
Yep so Billy was def in some foster/prison situation for enhanced people given the scene where Vison is shot by a far too high powered gun for a civiliian place and it contains doctors as well as metal collectors the reason I associate it to Tommy is that it’s called Saint Mabyns most likely it’s a messed up psyche ward/foster care for the enhanced or he has in fact gone to prison for enhanced people like the comics
There is also a strange machine that most likely is Ultron’s creation or the other villain’s but probs Ultron
More Vison and Ultron fighting
They’ve created a prison of sorts for Ultron and with the other AI’s behind him Vision is communicating with him. Ultron seems to have put them in “mortal jeopardy” indicating he’s done something affecting the outside world thus Tommy
