Today I held love in my hands and stared at it. Admired it. And didn’t know how to appreciate it. How to truly love it back.
Did you eat?
I swear to god if this doesn’t end in a “let’s go get food” I’m going to cry (via carryme-far)
Update: it didn't 😒🙄🙄🙄
white: hey have you listened to [classic rock band/song]
me: no im latina
Sorry but that’s like asking me, “Have you listened to Juanes or Fetty Wap?” and me responding, “No I’m a white woman”.
Your ethnicity doesn’t preclude you from potentially being exposed to certain music genres.
me: jokes
white: *crying uncontrollably* we are all one music genre….. the human genre

Person: Wow, why did you get all dressed up just to go to the grocery store?
Me:
Rachel Ruysch, “Still-Life with Bouquet of Flowers and Plums”, 1704,
Still Life with Flowers and Fruit by Rachael Ruysch (1703)
do you ever see a picture of someone with a body like yours and you’re momentarily comforted like they look pretty good…i probably look good too
which is why fat representation is so so important

Laying on my bed, listening to Selena, flexing my butt cheeks to the beat
One of the most symbolic things I’ve done since Parker and I broke up is change my phone password.
Like our second year of dating he got an iPhone (and had a girlfriend who’s name was 4 letters). When he came to visit, I made his password my name, and was honestly a little surprised that he hadn’t already done that. Especially considering my password already was 7275 (spelling Park).
He tells me he doesn’t like it. claiming he doesn’t need a password
Then the next time we hang out, i find out that he made his password to 7275 as well. Honestly it hurt my feelings. After dealing with feeling like he didn’t like me as much as he said he did, it just hurt. But he had that as his password the rest of the time we were together. And so did I. When we broke up, I made my password my own name. It sounds stupid, but every time I go to unlock my phone, I’m reminded of all of the times I didn’t feel loved in our relationship (beyond the dumb password thing) and feel at peace with my decision.
If you can't handle me at my anarcho-capitalist libertarian, you don't deserve me at my independent w liberal leaning tendencies.

I think about this joke a lot.
Your smile is sticky.
The best compliment I've ever received from a boy I like
