When I see people espousing bullshit criticism of DC and the DCEU:

I wasn’t the girl who was going to break your heart. I was the girl who was good for you. And I think that bothered you, I think it scared you. And so you hurt me, you broke me down because you didn’t want good, or happy. You wanted pain, cause that’s what you were used to.

I knew I was going to get hurt when I felt my stomach blow up when he said my name. I knew I was in too deep when I felt his fingertips on my hips even hours after he had gone. and fuck I knew I was done for when I could hardly smile honestly without his hand laced with mine and at that point I knew I should’ve left but I thought maybe if I stayed with him for a little bit longer he would crave me as much as I craved him.
