He gave her a sideways dopey grins and shrugged his shoulders. "I can always put the eggs in my protein shakes, that way I still get the protein from them and you don't have to smell, touch or taste them." He could literally just use protein powder to hit his proteins goals. That was what he used for her when he made her smoothies. "Look at you making sacrifices for our families." He said teasing her back but he always took her eating habits in consideration just like she did with his Jewish faith and what he could and couldn't eat. When you love someone, you adapt and that's what they did. "That's perfect." He told her as he pushed the cart and picked up some bbq sauce and placing it inside the cart. "I'm pretty good when it comes to cooking and grilling. I always got your back, kitten." He worried too much and he thought she worried too little but in a way he liked that she felt safe most of the time. Maybe he was paranoid but the almost robbery and stories of people stalking celebrities had made him that way. "Not if I can help it they won't and if they do then I would find you and beat them to death for daring to touch my family." It was bad enough before when it was just her but he was even more protective now that they had her. Max heard it too and was already putting his arm around Sabrina and moving in front of her till he saw it was teenage girls and they looked harmless. He relaxed a bit but his eyes stayed trained on them. They were fans, it was okay and Sabrina wasn't upset. He listened and looked on proudly and as soon as she turned to him, he happily took Nova and shielded her face with his hand as she lay against his chest. He was just glad the girls didn't start taking pictures of them without asking but they had been respectful and true fans. "Of course she does, she loves her mama. Anything else we need or you think we're good?" He couldn't think of anything else but his eyes glanced around to see if anything jumped out at him that they might need or want. They also darted around watching people as they passed by and shopped.
Her nose scrunched in disgust as he mentioned putting eggs in his shakes. “Like raw egg? That is disgusting. And you could get sick. No, it’s fine. You can just fry or boil them. It’s fine, I promise.” Her blue eyes looked down at Nova, “plus, we’ll probably need to introduce her to eggs when she can start solids. We don’t want her to become a picky eater like me.” Sabrina teased. It wasn’t that she was that big of a picky eater. But she also wanted her daughter to be introduced to certain things, just because she saw Sabrina not eat them, she didn’t want Nova to think she didn’t like it either. “I’ll always make sacrifices for our family, baby.” She smiled up at him and then bent up to kiss him softly. She giggled, nodding. “You would be able to find us. And honestly, if someone tried to grab me, especially if I’m holding her, I’d try to fight back as much as I can without hurting her in the process.” She wasn’t sure if fighting back would help or not. But she wouldn’t go down without one. Once the girls got their pictures and left, Sabrin headed back to Max and put Nova into the wrap. “She does love me,” Sabrina cooed down at Nova. “And I love her, so much.” She said, her hand resting against where her back was in the wrap. “I think we’re good,” she said as they walked over to the tills. Before they left, the cashier told Max happy Father’s Day, which made Sabrina smile. “Let’s get home and get everything ready.” She said as she buckled Nova into her carseat and then slipped into the passenger seat.
