It wasn't abnormal for Lucy to drop what she was doing and go to where a guy was. In the past she would be looking to hook up but things were different now. She still felt more comfortable hanging out with men over women so these plans seemed safer in a way. She didn't anticipate anything happening other than her making a new friend. In Vancouver she had to go to a dispensary but once she had her weed and they had finalized plans she went back to her hotel to change and then headed to the bar he suggested. She ordered her first drink and went to sit outside. She took out a preroll and lit it, smoking to calm her nerves as she waited.

to say he wasn't surprised to hear back from lucy after a mildly throwaway tweet on his part would be a lie. but hey, he could relate to being a bit impulsive so he wasn't about to judge. some people might have issues with meeting up with someone after saying all of two things to them, but he figured it couldn't go too terribly. and if she did turn out to be insane, he bet on himself to be faster and know the back alleys better to be able to get away. he made his way to the place he recommended to her and looked over the outside tables, figuring she'd be there if she was also a smoker. his eyes landed on who he thought she was and walked up with a slight smile. "uh, lucy, right?"

DM lucyhale: i can be motivated when im bored lol maybe someplace we can sit outside and talk and I can also smoke my weed? The vibe beyond that doesnt matter to me.

chrisevans: sometimes the mind can do that and you have to do your best to ignore it and find some sort of distraction. do you have meds for it?

hudsonwilliamsofficial: i do not. for that anyways. i usually just take a puff or two if i need to be sure i fall asleep.
