Linda was having so much fun in china with Jeremy. It was like a dream come true being there with him. She loved Ava from the bottom of her heart , but having this time alone with Jer was really nice. She was exhausted after all of their activities today, once they were back in the hotel room, she couldn’t wait to just shower and crawl into bed next her love . She looked up at him from the chair she sat in to take her shoes off and shook her head playfully. “Honey, I was just joking around.” She half teased. Of course there was a little bit of truth to her wanting to marry him, she loved him. But at their age, marriage also wasn’t a necessity. @carpejren

He heard her but for his own peace of mind he wanted to make sure. "I just want to touch base about it. We live together and I'm sure at some point it might not be a joke because after a certain amount of time it's expected that things move forward." He was careful how he proceeded, "I love you and I'm in this with you, but I don't ever want to get married again." He knew he ran the risk of losing her if she needed to be married one day but he was hoping their commitment to each other would be enough.

JRenn: Ha. Not sure

“That does happen sometimes , unfortunately, hun. I’m so sorry this is happening. I’ll do whatever I can to help you through this.” Linda started stripping the sheets off of the bed and then waited outside the bathroom door to take Ava’s clothes as well. “Okay, umm give me one minute. You start your shower and I’m going to go check my purse. I ‘might’ have something for now.” She hurried to the bedroom and grabbed her suitcase. She didn’t get her period often anymore, but she hadn’t completely gone through the change either, so sometimes, she kept something in her luggage, just in case. Luckily, she found a pad buried in a back pocket. “yes!” She called out before going to the bathroom door. “Ava, I found a pad in my bag.” She called inside. “When you’re finished, I can show you what to do with it.”

Ava went into the shower and cleaned herself up but she didn't feel fully clean. When the shower was off Ava wrapped herself in a towel and cracked the bathroom door, "Okay, I'm ready for you." She called out to Linda with some apprehension in her voice. This whole experience was strange and Ava didn't like how her nerves were acting. Just a little while ago she was a child and now she was a woman? She wasn't ready for this. She let Linda explain things to her and once she got a new pair of underwear she put everything on. She got herself dressed and once she was ready she found Linda again, "I'm ready to go to the store."

JRrenn: Planning a trip to China. Trying to figure out which part(s) to visit though.

pedropascal: Is it your first-time trip to China? Focus on the "Golden Triangle" of Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai.

JRenn: I've been there briefly for movie premiers but I've never vacationed. My girlfriend wants to go so I'm trying to plan a trip for us

Linda tried her very best to hide the look of fear she was struck with. Linda never had kids of her own so she was never really put in this position. But she quickly flipped into her best ‘mom’ mode that she could muster. “Okay, it’s okay sweetheart. I’ll take care of the sheets and the clothes. Why don’t you take a shower. Has anyone ever taught you anything about this? Do you know anything at all about it?” She remembered that they teach these things in school, but she also remembered that those courses were pretty useless in real life situations. “We are probably going to have to run to the store and grab some things , too.”

Ava shrugged, "I didn't think it would be all over like this. I didn't know it would run down my legs." She finally moved and headed to the bathroom to take a shower. "What do I do when I get out of the shower?" she asked Linda through the cracked bathroom door. "How can I go to the store like this?" the girl was worried that it would show through her clothes and everyone would stare at her.

Jeremy had done his best to shelter Ava from a lot of things but since she had gone to public school she wasn't completely ignorant to certain things. She knew what was happening to her but she didn't know what to do. She stood next to her bed staring at the blood stain on her sheets and she could tell her pajama's were saturated between her legs and even part of her butt. "What do I do?" she asked almost afraid to speak or move.

tatemcrae: and you're allowed to feel that way just like i'm allowed to think you're controlling, manipulative and the fact you talk down to women is bordering on misogyny which i didn't expect from you. so i'll end this conversation since you just want to pick a fight. JRenn: Not trying to pick a fight at all. Just can't stand people who don't look at all angles and think their opinion is the only one that matters.
