i don't understand people who think iori wielding the tobimune is a bad idea. the undefeated super powerful evil guy is assuming control of the country right now, she's gonna need something for self-defense. like I also see people saying samura's whole arc was pointless because he died anyway - the difference between this and his original plan is that he includes iori. he doesn't exclude her out of some false sense of protection this time. when her memories were wiped, she was in danger from the hishaku. if the tobimune was kept from her, she would be in danger from the world akemura's creating. when she says "I want to protect my life at school" she isn't choosing to fight for nationalism or revenge and she isn't choosing to remain ignorant. she's choosing to fight for her own life, her own happiness.
