Teesmouth is an ongoing unsentimental visual exploration of the area around the mouth of the River Tees.

Man has reclaimed the land around the river mouth for centuries; encroaching on the natural environment, changing and impacting upon the waterway. Nature reserves, leisure activities, and tourism co-exist against the backdrop of heavy industry and shipping.
