Without any degree of warning, a figure suddenly falls into a nearby tree (likely one Coco was standing next to), resulting in a loud thud and disturbing all the leaves on said tree. (SORRY COULDN'T RESIST and no it's not Flan this time)
Coco -who had in fact, been reading underneath the tree previously mentioned-Ā shot up in .2 seconds flat, screaming quite loudly in fright and dropping her book, her knees trembling ever so slightly.Ā
āCHEESE AND BLOODY FUDGING CRACKERS!āĀ She yelped, staring at the person above her. āWhat in the worldā What the heck was that for?!ā
The girl canāt help but roll her eyes. āGive me a break, Iāve been thrown into the side of a mountain at a quarter of the speed of sound, and nearly melted- no joke- in a hellish inferno of a cave. Falling out of a tree is nothing.ā As she says this, she leans her back against the tree in question, and immediately winces, pushing herself back to her previous position. āā¦that isnāt to say that it wasnāt entirely painless, though.ā
The silver-haired Nasod pauses for a moment, looking thoughtful. āHot chocolate would be nice, butā¦ā Her expression turns into a rather sheepish one. āā¦I canāt actually taste anything, so Iām afraid I wouldnāt really be able to properly appreciate it. I appreciate the offer, though.ā
Coco rolled her eyes at the long-winded explanation. āSounds like youāre either very, very unlucky or youāve made quite a few enemies.ā She smiled slightly. āI wasnāt asking if you could taste it. I was asking if it would make you feel any better. Personally I like the smell the most. Or the warmth. Or just the feeling of a mug in my hand, really.ā
With a bright smile and a flick of her bushy tail, she offered a hand to the nasod. āMy nameās Coco. Who are you?ā
Eve canāt help but crack a smile. āTo be honest, I think itās a combination of both. Angering legions of demons and giant, sentient suits of armor tends to do that⦠unfortunately a little TOO often. The latter being the reason I found- and by found I of course mean with my face- that tree in the first place.ā She glances upward for a moment. āFortunately, that⦠thing, seems to not have bothered following.ā
The silveretteās smile widens a bit. āAnd I suppose that is true. Hot cocoa- or really chocolate in general- does smell nice, and I do try to make the most of the senses I DO have⦠so, I suppose it wouldnāt hurt, if you donāt mind. As for my name⦠I go by a few, but you may call me Eve. A pleasure to meet you, Coco.ā As she introduces herself, she even includes a little curtsy
.Coco chuckled. "Well, I'm glad you and my tree had the opportunity to get acquainted. I'm sure it'll remember you for a long, long time." Her words were complemented with a small smile and a swish of her tail. Humor was something Coco valued greatly, you could never quite be sure if she was pulling your chain or not.Ā
"It's nice to meet you too, Eve." The warmblood said pleasantly. "I don't mind at all, if you don't mind coming inside my messy house... I'll gladly make you some hot chocolate. I'm out of marshmallows though, Alice ate them all." She sighed and rolled her eyes.Ā
