I was fighting super hard not to laugh loudly out loud in public at this moment. This is so them and it's just so funny!! But also how'd they let the cleaning blood off of arrows bit into a graphic novel for six year olds? (it makes it so much funnier)

I think a kid had a lot of fun with the copy I got so I wanted to share the expert expressions they added to Cass and Eugene.

I’ve been very lucky to have two loving, amazing parents but I know people who don’t have that and relate to Cassandra’s trauma and that trauma should not be boiled down to “mummy issues”. I don’t think people understand how reducing Cass’ arc to that, degrades real people with the same trauma.

Obviously, Cass isn’t a real person, so this can’t affect HER, but I do find it kinda hilarious how people expect her to just get over being abused and abandoned as a toddler and how they expect her to act all sunshine and rainbows when the truth is revealed years later.
