III LOVED this request. i remembered it the other day and decided to draw it but i was rereading ur ask just now and i realized u asked for the arm pattern and i drew the star instead oops. honestly i hate drawing the vibranium arm SORRYYYY...i think it is so fucking ugly its like so many things i hate abt mcus design language all rolled in one. is the silver arm + star politically loaded and also representative of bucky's trauma? sure. but would he maybe have a fucked up sense of humor abt it? i like to think so

no bc even though I like the current cap suit well enough I've been saying for ages that I wanna see sam in a suit with blue as the primary colour instead of white and I'm reeling from the fact that that wish ACTUALLY CAME TRUE... on top of that steve's suit in catws is prob my fav of his and (kinda unpopular opinion but) I'm actually liking the fact that it's similar??? there's a good chance this is just a one-off stealth suit but regardless I cant fucking wait to see sam pull it off in action omfg may 4th 2024 cant come soon enough

inside you there are two wolves. one is relieved knowing sam will be the main focus of cap 4 which hopefully also means being able to flesh out his backstory more and the other mourns the fact that we’ll be getting little to no sambucky content in the foreseeable future before even getting to see a samcap & bucky team-up

I still think you can have a very Sam-centric storyline with Bucky around. Bucky has plenty of his own plot happening in other parts of the MCU. There's going to be a Bucky show and he's in Thunderbolts. Having him as a supporting character in Cap 4 doesn't mean you wouldn't have Sam as the main focus of the movie-- Sam *is* the main focus of the movie. He's Captain America. TFATWS was their story but Cap 4 is Sam's story. Doesn't mean that Bucky can't be in it. He's actually pretty stupendous at kicking around in the background being awesome and making heart eyes at Sam.

I agree!! I think plenty of fans would enjoy seeing this for sure but generally speaking people probably just don’t trust marvel’s writing enough for them to actually be able to pull it off haha, hence the relief

at the moment though it does appear that he’s not going to be part of cap 4’s cast at all and it seems a bit late now for that to change, he might be in a post-credits scene at most!
