actually I think trans people are allowed to be upset at and criticize a cis woman for removing her support of transgender people, especially now when we need it most. “She faced scrutiny for it” and do you think we don’t? Obviously it’s terrible to receive harassment for it, but she only took down a post about a specific character being trans, all the other pride posts stayed up. And we are especially allowed to criticize her for it when she has also had a history of erasing nonbinary and transgender characters in her stories. She can take back the post showing us some kind of support, but what are we supposed to do? We do not get that kind of luxury because it is literally our identity.

tbh a lot of people in the UTMV fandom try to give certain people passes for things that they shouldn’t just because they’re popular members of the community. You don’t get to dodge responsibility for things just because you’re popular
