Clarke was glad Lexa said those words. She really needed to hear time. “Give me three more months then I can get out of this marriage” Clarke promised. She knew it wasn’t going to be that easy. She had a feeling Richard wasn’t going to allow her and would find some kind of loophole. “I wish we could too.” She whispered and kept Lexa close to her. She was relieved to feel Lexa relax a bit more. “I hope to see you at the opening of my gallery. You and your mom are both invited. You can bring her as your plus one.”

Lexa nodded, she believed that was what Clarke wanted but she knew her own father all too well and she knew there was no way he was going to make it easy, his little ego would never allow that. “I’ll be there.” She whispered, she was a little anxious but she really wanted to be there for Clarke and it was far away enough for her to at least be a little better. “I’ll see if I bring her, but I will be there.”
