That was the first thing Oliver noticed when he had entered the music room. He almost immediately put his hands over his nose, letting out a choked noise. What smelled so terrible? It was a thick kind of scent... It smelled familiar to the boy, but he couldn't exactly remember what it was. Whatever it was, it was making the room seem more unsettling with every second that passed.
He couldn't just stand there... could he? He could have left, and not seen what was there, but he didn't. Instead, he decided to investigate the room. With every single step he took, Oliver's thoughts started getting darker, assuming something horrible had taken place in the room that he was in. Shaking his head, the small captain stopped near the piano, shutting his eyes tightly before he could look.
It's not going to be her.
Oliver remembered that scent now. It was definitely the scent of blood. Keeping his eyes shut tightly, the boy kept repeating the same thing over and over in his head.
It's not going to be her.
Convincing himself enough, the blond took a shaky breath. Clenching his fists, he slowly opened his eyes.
Only to see the small figure on the floor.Â
"..Y..Yukii--!!" That was the only thing Oliver could manage to choke out, before his legs basically gave out on him, causing the captain to fall to his knees.
The girl he held so closely, was dead, right in front of him. Almost the color of a sheet of paper, and covered in blood... that wasn't how Oliver wanted to find Yuki. She was gone, and he couldn't do anything to change it.
He wanted to curse at someone.
But all Oliver could do was sit there, and weep, and the entire time time, one thought echoed through his head.
