I was struck by the sudden need to draw Holland March in that one stupid Quifrey pose (ref below the cut).
Songs like we'll never have sex and Pink in the night are so deeply Lars coded to me. Lars has such this longing for someone to be there for him and love him, but when an opportunity for a relationship to happen (like when margo first starts working at the office), he ignores her. I see this as him wanting and yearning for someone to truly love him, yet never having someone like that ever in his life. This has caused the thought of someone feeling that way being so overwhelming, turning into immense guilt and fear within Lars, and these songs just ooze that feeling to me.
woof i am out of practice but i missed them,,, epipen for the masses

@tea-cake-andalittlebitofgay 's comment on PMS/PMDD; i absolutely didn't know the difference:
"PMS is typically mood swings (irritability/sensitivity), sometimes mild pain and discomfort, food cravings, mild bloating, etc…
if, before your period, you: are suddenly suicidal when you‘re not normally; have intense, uncontrollable mood swings that impact your relationships; experience severe pain, especially joint or breast pain; and/or feel incredibly fatigued and brainfogged in a way that is abnormal for you…. that is likely PMDD and you should talk to a doctor!! those are not normal and you shouldn‘t have to put up with them.
there are so many options for treatment to help you live your best life. menstrual cycles can and should feel like a normal part of life (an inconvenience at worst, and a source of comfort at best if you‘re able to care for yourself sufficiently) — not like something you need to suffer through.
much love to anyone who is finding this out now. it‘s easy to normalize your own suffering when you‘ve never been told it didn‘t have to exist. ❤️"
