Bulma

Goku looked at her in confusion, again feeling left out by not knowing just what in the world she was going on about. Stands up and goes over to be in front of her angry gaze.     “You know Bulma there’s a lot of guys out there, and I’m sure if you’re      wanting any with tails there’s probably out there too! You just gotta look harder,      and if you’re needing a boyfriend right now… Maybe the next town we go to will      have someone there?? Since, you clearly aren’t happy with just hanging out      with me.” 

    “It’s because you don’t have a tail, isn’t it…?” | @capsulecorpcutie​ |

     “I don’t want a boyfriend with a tail!”

She exclaimed, sitting up a bit straighter as he moved in front of her. Of course, Bulma knew that the boy was being sincere, but that didn’t make his naivete any less infuriating. Sometimes she just didn’t know how to get through to him.

“I don’t mind hanging out with you, Goku,” She sighed, “But I want something more than a little boy following me around, okay? Don’t take it so personally. It isn’t like I don’t like you. If anything, maybe we’ll find you a little girlfriend.”

That thought was enough to bring a smirk back to her lips. What a fiasco that would be...

    “… I don’t get any of this… Why do you want it so bad? What about      something more useful?? Maybe a big house? You sure like to hang      around in those a lot, already. What about an even bigger house!?      Does that exist? Maybe the dragon can do it! Then you can bathe,      or do your hair without me getting in the way!!” As he was now wondering about what other things would be interesting to wish over, and if the dragon was able to split wishes? What if I want a wish to find a way to get stronger? Though, I think I like doing it the normal way, really… Nothing like waking up to a day of fun!!       ”Do you really even need a boyfriend? “Argh, then why did you ask?!” She huffed, already annoyed with the barrage of questions being thrown her way. He had just been so cute and of course he had to go ruin it.

“I don’t need one, I just want one! When you get older, you’ll understand! And I can get a house on my own, you know. I’ll be rich one day, without a wish...And I don’t need a wish to get a boyfriend either!”

Now she folded her arms, directing her pout towards the flickering flame.

    “………………………uh…….. Why, though??” He was genuinely confused, now. There must be some real reason behind doing something like that to another person? Please don’t tell me it has the same effect as when Bulma constantly brushes her hair, or spends an hour in the bath… His tail whipped from side to side, confusion was so plainly on his face.     “Does it protect you from something?      “Ha, no! Well...maybe in a fairy tale.”

She laughed, though the idea certainly made for a nice romantic daydream. Though usually kisses broke the spell, and that was getting into tropes in literature which was the last thing Goku likely wanted to discuss.

“It just feels good. Like a hug, but better. Though it can just be a way to show someone you care about them. If you kiss someone’s cheek, it can be a greeting, or just something friendly. But the lips...that’s only for romance!”

    “A kiss?! What’s that? Tell me!” He wondered if it was another word for food, because what else could a girl want? Protection, caring… It has to be that! Maybe a house?? Stares at her with eyes that just screamed of wanting to know more, and though these things weren’t really that interesting to him… He found it interesting enough to pass the time. And she’s laughing at me? Why?? Did I say something funny, again? | @capsulecorpcutie​ |

     “Hmmm, I guess you’re old enough to know at least that.       But don’t go saying it’s gross, I warned you!”

She finished up the rest of her meal, before turning towards Goku once more. The smile at her lips was impish now, for there was always a degree of amusement in having to explain new things to this boy. Especially thngs like this.

     “It’s when someone puts their lips on the other person. Usually       on their lips, but you can kiss their cheek or their hand...”

Goku was feeling a little better by now, but of course he was really confused as to what Bulma was even talking about here. A little annoyed at himself not even getting it, too. Huffs, chest puffing out and stands finally to make a pose with his pudgy arms; arms that will one day be extremely muscular, or at least that’s how he pictured it.    “That’s not all I do, Bulma! I can swim, and fight! I can jump so high, I bet I     can reach the sky! One day I’ll try to learn how to fly!” | @capsulecorpcutie​ |

Now she couldn’t help but to laugh, as the little boy tried to puff himself up into something more imposing. And she believed that he really would try (and subsequently fall hard enough to cry).

     “I bet you can, but a boyfriend doesn’t just go around swimming and       fighting. He protects and cares for the girl...and kisses her. I bet you       don’t even know what a kiss is.”

She snickered, before taking a few more bites of dinner. She couldn’t imagine Goku kissing anything but a big cooked turkey, honestly. It was adorable to see him so worked up though, enough to want to pinch his cheeks like an old granny. But then he’d probably try to bite me.

    “Of course I can!” Just keeping his eye on the food that was heating up, and almost felt consumed by his hunger alone. They weren’t in any danger, that much he could tell, and it was all about getting something tasty and then resting.     “Thanks!” Immediately scarfing down the whole bit of food into his mouth, and though he looked like he could have ate a ton more… He let this just be enough. Looks over at whatever she was making, but decided to ask something boring. She likes this sorta talk, so.     “So…. Bulma?? Why do you even want a boyfriend, anyway?     Aren’t I good enough? Bulma had made a smaller meal, though anything was smaller than what Goku ate. Still, she put on a few extra pieces of meat for the hungry boy before taking a bite of her own. And almost choking on it...

     “W---Cough--why are you asking that?! Ugh...It doesn’t       work like that, Goku. A boyfriend has to be more than       just a boy.”

It was strange for Goku to ask anything not related to food or fighting, so she supposed he was trying to be nice. How cute.

     “I want someone my age, you know. And someone who       will pay more attention to me than to their dinner.”

Goku sat down on the log next to hers, and looked ahead with that same sort of daze. He was far too gone, and needed something good in his belly fast! Glances over at her, and slowly shakes his head. His stomach was growling like a monster in the dark, which should be concerning right?     “No, I’m too… I need food, Bulma…” | @capsulecorpcutie​ |

     “Ugh, I swear, you’re so dramatic when you’re hungry.”

She tsked, but wasted no time in pulling out a few capsules. One produced a nice fat bird of some sort, which she put onto the spit just to warm up. She didn’t leave it up too long, she didn’t want the kid to have a fit.

“Here you go,” Bulma said, handing off the meal (yes he would eat the entire thing) before getting to work on some food of her own. “Tomorrow we’ll look down by the river...I just hope a fish hasn’t swallowed it. Say...can you swim?”

   “Bulma?? Can we stop for the night? I’m already getting hungry…     I don’t think the Dragon Balls are going anywhere, anytime soon.” As his stomach was growling loudly, and he held onto her a little tighter while she rode on with her motorbike. He could already feel that drowsiness kicking in from lack of food. | @capsulecorpcutie |

She would have argued, but a yawn rendered any complaints null. With a sigh, she tucked away the dragon radar and began to slow down.

     “Sure, alright...”

Muttering agreement, her gaze was already combing the landscape for the best place to stop. Just a little further into the nearby trees took them to a decent clearing and here she could park and pull out the necessary capsules. A tent was up in no time, along with a small fire.

     “So, are you gonna catch something, or       should I break out another capsule?”

She asked, settling down on a nearby stump.

Goku let her do whatever she wanted with his hand, and though the request was odd he didn’t mind it. What he found himself wondering was why she looked so nervous? Her face is really red! Does she not like me in the bed with her? What did I do? O-h!    “O–h!” His eyes widening a bit when he felt her heart thrumming away against his palm, and he felt a little confused at her questions.    “…uh… I mean, it’s never really crossed my mind! What’s so different     about a girl versus a boy, anyway? Other than you don’t have any     balls, hm… Oh, and I guess you have bigger……….. uh…………………..” Just blatantly pokes one of her breasts, and presses his palm carefully to it’s front after a moment. It honestly surprised her to see any sort of reaction from him aside from his usual blunt curiosity. But Goku was Goku and he wouldn’t be so without doing something shocking. Yet it wasn’t totally against what she had desired from this whole ordeal. Still, her face burned all the brighter as he fondled her, especially considering that even he seemed a touch chagrined.

     “Yea...that would be the difference....”

Her eyes went from his hand to his own red cheeks, which honestly made her feel a bit better (a bit).

     “...You can keep going, if you’d like.”

She said with a small nod, letting her hand rest loosely at his wrist. She was growing excited already, but she didn’t want to rush anything.

   “….Wanted to what?” As he looked quite clueless, but of course trusted Bulma with his life and all. Gives her his hand, and wonders just on what she was talking about? He was really curious now, since she looked quite… He didn’t have the word for it, but almost… hungry? For lack of anything better to compare it to, and he had that split second of a thought run through his head; Is she going to try to eat me? Finally?? It’s about time! Leans in closer to her, whispering so as to try and not be loud to wake anyone else in the other rooms, alright.     “If this is about dinner… I don’t know if I’d make a good meal, Bulma.      Kinda way too lean, really.      “It’s not about food, Goku, geez!”

Yep, he was hopeless, but at this point she didn’t care. Sort of. Biting her lip, she took his hand in hers and at first merely stroked it for a moment. Wondering if Goku would even care about such things. Watching him closely, she finally laid his hand just above her chest, where her heart was beating wildly.

     “Haven’t you ever wanted to...to...” Looking unusually nervous,       she forced the question out, “To touch a girl before? To not use       your hands just for fighting?”

   “…uh… I don’t think it’s weird!” Slips in under the covers, and closer to her with a big grin on his face. He always found it slightly amusing whenever she was a little overly excited by whatever he did that she found strange. To him, all of this just seemed normal. After all, he was just some kid from the forest, and it didn’t feel that long ago.     “…And um… no? I haven’t. Why? Is that weird, too? Heheh.” | @capsulecorpcutie​ |

     “No! It’s just...”

Ugh, why did he have to get so close? And why was she letting him? Sometimes she almost felt bad, knowing how naive Goku could be about certain things. But still, by now you’d think he would pick up on something.

     “So you’ve never wanted to...?”

Turning on her side beneath the blanket, she looked at Goku (and what she could see of his body). Her cheeks were still burning, and that heat was spreading over her body the more she stared. She was curious about some things, or that’s what she was telling herself, anyways.

     “If you want to, give me your hand...”

    “Um…………. There wasn’t any other room. The guys took all      the other beds, and Master Roshi is on the couch, so. I just      thought I’d come in here?” Casually pulls the sheet back a little more, even though she was trying to cover herself up. Probably cause it is a little cold in here. I understand! Though, he was a little curious. He hadn’t seen her really that much since he was small, and only a few times in the past few years. He couldn’t help but to be curious??      “Wow, Bulma! I didn’t know you did the same thing! I love       sleeping without my clothes!! Here, I’ll join ya!” As he was already stripping off his blue top. | @capsulecorpcutie​ |

     “G--W--are you CRAZY?!”

She exclaimed, and yet at this point there seemed to be no stopping him. There was only so much you could do, after all, when naked. She simply sat there exasperated as Goku finally joined her. Naked. So why the hell wasn’t she yelling at him to put something on?

     “Geez, come on?! By now you have to know that this is weird!”

Glancing over, admittedly she couldn’t help but to like what she was seeing. Seriously, Bulma? Saying nothing more, she laid back against the pillow, mind racing with different thoughts now. 

     “...Goku, have you ever...have you slept next to a girl since you were a kid?”

Goku had a long day of training by himself, and was happy that he could actually feel himself seem stronger. He even forced himself to take a bath, because that’s what you’re supposed to do, apparently. Though, he found out that Yamcha and Puar took his room for the night, and he wasn’t bothered by it. So, he went off to the other room where Bulma was at, and snuck over to the other side of the bed. Pulls the covers back to get inside, and his eyes widened when he accidentally pulled a little too much.     “Uh… Bulma???????” | @capsulecorpcutie |

She hadn’t even drifted off yet, her mind still full of the day’s adventures. Goku may have been older now, but he still got them into just as much trouble as ever. Bulma was so caught up in her thoughts, of course, that she hadn’t even heard said trouble maker enter her room. Not until she felt the chill of the air did she notice----

     “GOKU?!”

Her cheeks burned as she hurried to cover herself (so she slept nude sometimes most of the time, so what?!). Honestly, would he ever learn the concept of privacy?

     “What are you doing in here?!”

     “Yes… Zarbon and Dodoria made it very clear that it was Frieza who did it.” Though, now she had him wondering a little further. He had an idea of what she was insinuating, but that’s just too out of the…– No, it’s not and you know it.    “…Bulma…” The longest pause from the Saiyan Prince, and he gave her one of his most serious of stares as the idea was truly forming in his head. “Tell me you aren’t suggesting that it was Beerus who blew up my world…….” He did not want to believe it was a possibility, but now that he was older anything was bound to be truth. @capsulecorpcutie​

     “I’m not sure what to think, Vegeta.”

And it was the truth, not simply something said to keep Vegeta’s temper at bay. Bulma knew that he was wrestling with something that had been a defining moment in his life...and wondering if she should have even brought it up while Beerus was still on the planet.

“I think that...he might have been involved, in some way. But who could say for sure? I don’t want you jumping to any conclusions, understand? I just...think that if there’s something being covered up here, you deserve a shot at the truth.”

   “Oh, he hated Frieza. The two of them hated each other, except we     all know Frieza was his bitch.” Tries not to think too much on that aspect, but he definitely enjoyed seeing that in his younger years.     “….Anyway, hm… They mostly stayed away from each other, but the      occasionally accidental barging into the throne room would occur,      and sometimes sparse conflict. I’m surprised it wasn’t Beerus who      finished off Frieza, before I was even old enough to try it myself.” @capsulecorpcutie​

     “Hm....”

There’s just not enough to go on, dammit! They hated each other, yet had similar attitudes. I wish Beerus hadn’t clammed up so quickly...Snapping out of her thoughts, Bulma turned her attention back to Vegeta.

     “But his henchmen saw him do it, right? Frieza, that is...       He’s definitely the one who destroyed the planet?”
