Time Agent, Con Man, Torchwood

I stopped posting here when I got sick. I now know I have endometriosis and whilst it isn’t curable, I am managing it. In the last couple years I graduated with a degree in costume construction, I did some work for Doctor Who and generally started getting on with my life.

I met the love of my life in that time, we started dating a little over a year ago, and he proposed on our 1 year anniversary. We’re now getting married, living in Cardiff and enjoying life with our cat, Cassie. I’m currently obsessed with the Empyrean series by Rebecca Yarros.

Riza Hawkeye was born in 1889.

This particular piece of information means we can work a few things out, like the fact Riza was nineteen when the state alchemists were sent into Ishval. She was nineteen when she asked Mustang to burn the tattoo off her back. This raises some interesting questions

Assuming you have to be 18 to go to the Military Academy, this puts Riza in one of 3 categories.

1. She got early entry to the academy

2. She got into the academy at just turned 18 and graduated within a year

3. She was sent to Ishval as a cadet

We know Riza went to the academy because that’s where she met Rebecca, so we can rule out her just not going.

What this also means is that Riza is the youngest member of Team Mustang, not included Edward of course, because all of Mustangs men were in Ishval. She’s also the most senior out of them all.

The whole series is also 10 times funnier when you realise Riza is only 10 years older than Edward. If Edward is 15-16 in Brotherhood, that means Riza is only 25-26.
