blyat is a russian swear word. and while russian speakers make up about a quarter of the estonian population, the large majority are still native speakers of estonian, a language where "blyat" is not a word

we do transcribe and use some russian swear words into estonian, but even in that case "blyat" is used as "blja" and even then, it is far from the most used swear word. the most used swear would probably be "kurat"

ok, this map asks how safe it is to walk alone

and i will say, i do feel very safe walking alone at night, but my perspective is skewed based on something that the map creator didnt seem to consider, which is that there is more than one place in estonia.

i have lived in only tallinn and tartu and i have always felt safe walking at night, but those from places such as sillamäe would probably have a different answer. i dont think you can base safety of walking alone at night on an entire country as a whole

tbh I'd say that overall estonia is pretty safe at night. yes there's locations where there's more nighttime crime, but it's absolutely more safe than other locations
