The timing has gone wonky and apparently Jolyon just won.. Hahah.Â
Iâm gonna go through the race again just so I can find Kevin saying âFucckkk thisâ and watch it 15 times
24 Hours of Le Mans my arse, more like the 24 Hours of âFuck, not againâ... God freakin damn bloody nation. Can someone just finish and win..Â

If there is a god of Motorsport, I have a question: âWHAT IS YOUR GOD DAMN PROBLEM WITH FERNANDO?!â
Can I catch a break fuck me, Will, Davison, Josef, Hinch.. Far out.. This better be a good fight at the end to make up for this clusterfuck of a race.Â
FUCK THIS FUCKING SHIT FUCK OH MY GOD HONDA FUCK OFF NOT THIS AS WELL AS F1 YOU TWAT OF AN ENGINE Oh my God, I knew it might happen but with 20 to go, fucking stab me, whatever.Â
OK, this is not gonna be a fuel race, this is gonna be a dog fight.. hang on. More yellow could change it a bit but probably a fight.Â
For all us F1 people, Fernando is going to have a tough time at the end with the company he might have, so donât get overly excited.. Helio and Tony are legends in these parts.Â

Although not right at the front, Helio, Fernando, Tony, Servia all have a good strategy at the moment, they can do one more stop and run flat chat if thereâs even a couple of laps of yellow, Chilton, Davison and such arenât in such strong positions..Â
If everyone pits now, there should only really be one more stop, depends on yellows and how it plays, but can get home with this and then one more on full green.Â
And there we go, the first Honda engine to expire.. Had to be RHR didnât.. Fucks sake. We were all expecting one or two to go.. but yeah.. Worrying.Â
Iâm the biggest Fernando fan, I canât overstate that, but leading at the moment isnât really that great to be honest, it shortens the fuel windows, makes the car and engine work harder and doesnât do a lot for him come lap 180.. Also a good car now doesnât mean a good car at the end.. Itâs great to see him at the front and fingers crossed but this isnât necessarily a good thing right now.. That crash makes me question life itself though. Glad my fave Kiwi is ok and got out on his own.. I love IndCar because of the intensity but that was damn fucking scary.Â
So actually, the fact heâs now being eaten up a bit could be quite decent in the long hall?Â
Iâm also not 100% on all of these crashes but major kudos to everyone involved in building these cars bc shit me they shouldnât of walked away from that
Hard to predict honestly, butâs itâs not the end of the World thatâs for sure, theyâll keep tuning the car at each stop, but running behind other people saves a lot of fuel and gives you more flexibility on the windows, donât have to run flat out all the time. This race is a very hard thing to predict.. If you ever want to see what mid-race car tuning does, watch last years race from Pocono.. Will Powerâs car went from terrible to invincible. And yes, mega kudos to Dallara and IndyCar, to see someone get out of that without a scratch is incredible. I really do appreciate how far safety has come..Â
Still all to play for then? (or ârace forâ to be politically correct but shh)Â
Kind of seems a bit like a free for all with tonnes of contributing factors and a case of whoever pulls it out of the bag on the day? Â
Oh wow really? Iâm not sure itâs a good idea to watch two of these races at the same time, especially considering i donât completely understand whats going on, but playing by the rules is never fun!
For what seems like such a âsimpleâ race, it doesnât half carry itâs fair share of differing aspects that you have to get your head around.
Absolutely, itâs still all to play for, no one is out of it yet. Even if youâre running 20th, you can be there at the end. They that you donât win this race, but it decides who will win and lets them get it. Itâs really got no form guide at all.. Itâs about being in the right spot at the right time. Donât watch it now :P But itâs on YouTube if you end up getting hooked on Indy :P Oval racing looks simple enough, but itâs the 1000s of tiny little things that make the difference, itâs a different game to circuit racing. Strategies are so different too and can completely change at any minute, youâre at the fate of luck in this.Â
So itâs probably not going to be a lovely little drive where we kind of know a few laps from the end and they just roll over all nice and lovely? It could potentially be like the hunger games?
Oops, i did say that i was a rebel and i guess iâm just a little bit hardcore ;P (even if i am pausing it after every 30 seconds bc something else happens in Indy - like when all of a sudden Max was leading and my poor Manor loving heart almost burst, or stopped idk)Â
Thats what i find so funny bc before all of this i was like âwhy would you want to sit and watch them go around in circles - or ovals to be political yano - but i got myself through quali and understood it and now iâm holding my hands up bc itâs really not just driving around in circles.Â
I donât want to speak too soon but i think iâm getting the jist of it all. I think. But weâre just going to roll with it.
Oh man if you havenât seen the end of an Indy500 before hang the fuck on.. Holy moly, there are no friends and no holding back, shit gets serious, quick. Thatâs going to be the hardest bit for Fernando, itâs not like fighting in a GP is, itâs a crazy slipstream passing war.. Maxâs car and the Ganassiâs look fairly strong at the moment, itâs good to see him going well.. Make sure you pay full attention with 40/50 to go though :P Iâve never been one to dismiss ovals, but I didnât get it (Not American, Iâm Aussie, so it was an odd concept to me too) but Iâve always been fascinated with IndyCar and once I started watching and learning I fell in love with it quickly. End of this race will be hot, so hang on.Â
