My only complaint is that the palm strap doesn’t fit as snugly against my hand as the one on my other camcorder even after tightening it all the way, but otherwise, i love it!

I've found it! A one of a kind item! A miniDV handycam that doesn't require an impossible to find dummy battery to run off an external DC supply!

It's a standard barrel connector! The charger for the battery has a corresponding barrel connector although the cable is missing.
