canon warrior cats

hello! this is a blog where i will be posting the warrior cat characters as real-life cats. my name is sydney, i’m 22, and my pronouns are she/they. as a kid i was obsessed with warriors as well as cats and re-reading them as an adult has sparked this again for me. i started a pinterest board with the cats as i’ve been reading, and decided i wanted to dedicate a blog to it since i have so much fun with it!

please note that this is my take on each character - i do try to often closely replicate the official and fan wiki references, however, sometimes i put my own spin on what breed i think a cat would be. not everything will be 100% accurate, this is purely for fun and to help me picture the characters as i re-read the books.

a few more notes:

✧ i will mostly start from the prophecy begins and move onward, but not all cats will be posted in order of when they appear chronologically.

✧ i will probably not be doing all cats - however, feel free to requests cats you’d like to see if i skipped one or if there’s one you want me to post sooner!

✧ i will try to keep this blog mostly spoiler-free. it will not include any plot details, but leader names will be noted and the character references from the official site will be included which do list mates, warrior names, siblings, etc.

✧ i'll mainly be using the starclan tag not to mark who is dead, but for cats that are the most prevalent starclan members/visit the living the most.
