A kidnapping. For the infamous surgeon Black Jack, this was a common occurrence among many. There were none whom didnât voice their reasoning that pertained to his expertise in surgery, though. Instead, he was told war was afoot, and he must participate in a helpless situation in which nobody truly lost their life. Was there a point to this war, to his being forced in residing here, if lives were of infinite number? Even then, how was Black Jack supposed to believe their plan was of any sensible meaning? It was almost laughable how this joke seemed to brew more insanity than any substance of intelligence.
Taking a look outside the window of his so-called apartment, the oddity of his kidnapperâs tastes were instantly clear upon inspection. Men and women with ears and tails of the feline kind, skeletons consuming hot dogs, and children carrying weapons heavier than their own weight. Ah, then there was the man who stood before him, clad in clothing akin to his own; it would be hypocritical to suspect his company to be committing a felony. Black Jack could have been taken by this man. However, he couldnât contain the laughter that erupted from his lips, Black Jack hardly attempting to stifle it. By far, this was the most pathetic case of kidnapping he has been on the receiving end of.
Placing any hope in him to take this seriously was a task that exceptionally failed on his kidnapperâs part. Surely, this man didnât have high expectations in receiving a respectful greeting, either. âWHAT FAIRY TALE CREATURE ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE? DRACULA, MAYBE? WOULD YOU HAPPEN TO HAVE RH-NEGATIVE BLOOD? OR IS THAT JUST A COSTUME TO FIT IN WITH THE REST OF YOUR BUDDIES?â
