I had a habit of just hacking all my hair off bc I felt no matter what, i’d never feel comfortable in my own skin. I decided to take care of myself and in turn, this was seen through my 4 years of hair growth. Without thought, i cut it all of again. This time I felt relief. Like everything I had been harboring for those 4 years was finally let go.

i hoped what i was doing was right and i realize every day ive delved deeper into what i had been trying to avoid. i’m past the point of realizing what ive worked so hard to avoid is consistency and vitality. ive started to miss being the unhealthy person i was before. things are significantly better now but everything was easier before. i want to disappear again. it was all so much quieter.
