process shots of my story in the Twine program (available here: http://twinery.org/). I downloaded the Twine 1.4.x program and used the “Sugarcane” format, which allows for use of CSS and Java. Panels with a blue header are called “passages,” and the file overall is called a story. Twine was built to allow anyone to create an interactive choose your own adventure game/story. To create a link connecting one passage to the next, all you need to do is type [[text to display|title of connecting passage]] and a link is created.

Stylesheet and Script passages can contain CSS and Java coding respectively. They can be tagged so that they only apply to tagged passages.

Twine has extensive documentation and user-generated CSS and macros. Open source is amazing.
