A really crispy treat. One that combines sweet with sweet into a crunchy-gooey bar called a Rice Crispy Treat

E-Z to get at Sam’s Club at $9 for about 25 if I recall correctly. These are a great on the go snack, leaving a sticky sweet taste in your mouth.

To know you’re about to snack tf out. It’s crunchy at first and then turns into a gooey bite, dense to chew through but is very smooth and then you keep chewing to get that rice crispy texture mixed with marshmallow. Essentially, one could call it a crunchy marshmallow. I’m upset I already ate through it, these definitely need to be a foot long each. That would satisfy me for the day. 

When a friend asks where to even start with an AI girlfriend, I point them to SweetDream every time. It's easy to begin, the creation tools are intuitive, and within a few minutes you have a companion who already feels like someone.

As I’ve mentioned previously, I’m a huge fan of sour candy. I’ll prefer it to any other in the candy aisle most times. Sour Punch are no exception to that, but if you’re looking for a less complicated way to eat them, Sour Punch Bites are the way to go.

Basically mini versions of the Sour Punch Straws which are much filled with flavor and sour sugars. 

Coming in three flavors; Strawberry, Blue Raspberry, and Green Apple. I feel like these flavors always have a sour version. Especially Green Apple being sour almost every time. These bites are great because they’re a sugared sour, amplifying the irritableness. 

Starting with a strawberry punch, definitely a strawberry flavor to it. Not super sour but again, I really like sour candy. I would say this would be a mild sour level for anyone who’s not super into sour candy. To test this hypothesis, I just went downstairs and asked a friend, Alex, to try a strawberry one and said it’s way too sour since he doesn’t generally like sour candy. Green Apple is not a surprising flavor. Funny enough it seems to be the color least found in this batch. I would say Green Apple is a little more sour than Strawberry was, plus I do enjoy the apple flavor more. It mixes sweet and sour in a fruity flavor. Lastly, popping two Blue Raspberries in my mouth, it isn’t a surprising flavor either. Recognizable from the straws with its hint of blueberry to it.

Which I have combined to bring Fruit By The Roll-Ups. It’s interesting how it seems as if they haven’t changed the individual packaging design in quite a while, clearly shown with their method of describing the flavor to each one. It’s an upside down triangle pointing to its flavor which is ‘Sizzlin’ Red/ Yellow’. Even better is the flavor for the foot

Might not see it too well, but it’s ‘STRAW’. I’m not sure if right under it says 2B or 28, nor am I sure if it’s part of the flavor which I would think implies ‘Berry’ though it’s poorly done if so. Anywho, that’s not the important part of these two great candies. It’s what happens when you pop one in. Multiply that by two, and you get this

Which you then Roll-Up and are then presented with this creation

It has a hole all the way through, could be used as a pipe if you’re ever in a pinch. 

Anywho, this is where the action happens. As I was rolling it, I had a sudden urge of excitement to enjoy this. At first bite I’m already on another level. Seriously this might be one of the best candy I’ve ever tried, and I haven’t done it with gushers yet! With each bite it’s just filled with flavor, as both Foot and Roll-Ups are already packing with flavor. It isn’t an overwhelming amount of sugar, just tons of flavor which makes me happy after reviewing the bugles from yesterday. 

Just finished it and I’ve come to the conclusion that the gushers can’t wait. That was really on another level of flavor. This needs to be done by everyone who reads this. You’re shooting yourself in the foot if you don’t go out and create this magnificence, which is easily done by purchasing a pack like this

And so this, combined with the previous concoction and we start with

And now the only thing to do is consume beauty. 

Bugles, we all know em for their cone shaped corn chips. They’re crunchy, have a good amount of flavor on them, and a hole you could use...

Or, as the title implies

I wouldn’t rate these as America’s #1 Finger Hat especially with the ones in this pack because their holes are too small. When I flipped my hand to get the other angle, one chip fell 

So I ate it, and the ranch is noticeable. It’s recognizable, but I wouldn’t say it’s what you’d expect a ranch flavored chip to taste like. It’s also not a very potent flavor, you got to get a good amount in your mouth at once in order to really feel it. The crunch is as expected from Bugles, kinda corny. It doesn’t even smell like ranch when sniffing into the bag, which goes to show how natural their flavoring really is. Regardless they’re still very good and I could eat a whole bag in a sitting, rating this at a 5/10. 

This is almost pure juice. It’s safe to say that most of us grew up enjoying this candy as we’d pop one in our mouth to experience the explosion that happens when you bite down on one of these. 

Gushers have been a longtime favorite for the combination of their flavor, texture and smell which they seem to get just right. In portable packs of 10, they’re great as an on-the-go snack if you don’t mind getting your fingers sticky. I remember exciting myself every time I was graced with the opportunity to enjoy even just a pack of these. The real power move here is to get the 36 pack for about $9 at Sam’s Club. 

Just look at these beauties. I’m gonna go ahead and jump right into these. Started with the green one, there’s a definite sour green apple flavor to it which just jumps at you with the juice from inside. These are really best enjoyed two or more at a time. It’s the only way to really enjoy everything gushers has to offer, 3 at a time really being the move here. It takes a couple chews to really get to the core of each of these, which is great because at first it’s more like a regular gummy as you chew on it, but then it reveals its true form after a short few bites which I think is what make these phenomenal. 

At Walmart I was strolling through looking for dry erase boards and candy (as per usual) and at check out, something caught my eye. Black Forest Organic claims to have America’s Best Tasting Gummy Bear.

Being that they’re organic, this seemed like a perfect opportunity to put that to the test’ and so after picking them up, this is what they look like 

Opening it up, you immediately sense the fruity scent to it, exciting to get to try these.

They offer 5 flavors, Cherry, Orange, Apple, Lemon, and Pineapple. Each bear is very squishy and looks juicy. Starting in that order, the cherry one is very chewy, gives flavor off with each bite, a subtle cherry flavor to it though still very tasty. Next with orange, you definitely get that orange zing to it. I wouldn’t need to know that this is orange to taste it, it’s very particular. Apple brings in another style to the gummy bears, even a tiny bit more sour, much more sweet and apple-y. Each of these bring very good flavors to enjoy. Lemon definitely gives off a citrusy zing as well, while also being subtle like the cherry bear (unless you’re putting two or more in your mouth at once, which is the move. Lastly, the pineapple. I’m a fan of pineapples outside of the fruit as well. This bear doesn’t give off any surprises with its piny, apple-y flavor. 

Mixing flavors is highly recommended as it fills your mouth with juices as well as giving off all these great flavors at once. I wouldn’t say these are America’s best tasting gummy bears, though they are quite good. On a scale, these would place on 7.5/10. At $1.99 a pack, I’d say these are worth it, though at Burger King you could get 10 chicken nuggets for $1.48 so comparably, it depends on your preferences. 

About a year ago, M&M’s came out with a caramel flavor to their candies. A simple caramel filling with a touch of salt to accompany the chocolate has been perfected by MARS. 

Their packaging is convenient because of the zipper and ability to stand up on its own, allowing you to easily pick at it or even share with friends. Each individual candy is much thicc than a regular M&M, packing with much flavor and texture to fill your mouth. 

Popping two at once, you get that familiar taste of M&M’s, and with each bite getting you closer to that caramel filling. It’s basically caramel mixed with chocolate and MARS really nailed it here. The way the cover crunches with the filling is really well done, giving this a solid 8/10. 

I really couldn’t wait to review this version of the wow’s. Marshmallow and graham crackers in a chocolate bar could never be a bad idea. 

This bar isn’t gluten free, however, the bacon bar I reviewed last post is actually gluten free, a detail I forgot to mention. Because it has marshmallows and graham crackers, it’s a bit thiccer than the bacon bar

Now to the best part. Opening it up, you get a very similar bar as last time,

Diving right into it. The chocolate alone is delicious with the graham crackers crushed and mixed right into it. It’s similar to how he did it with the bacon bits and salt in the Bacon bar. Fine, almost rich but still milky chocolate. With the marshmallow in it, we bring this to another level, mixing fluff and crunch in each bite. 

I can’t stop eating this. This combination brings you sweetness with more sweetness which works perfectly in a chocolate bar like this. As good as the bacon bar was, I say this tops it with a rating of 9/11 (Disregarding price)

I’m sorry, it’s just the best way to describe it.

Title provided by a discovery made today at Publix, offered at Buy 1 Get 1 free and have had to resist the temptation to eat these from the moment I took it off its shelf. Chuao Chocolatier (Hence Chew-Wow), established in 2002 by a Venezuelan who was successful in the tech industry, but flew to Paris to hone in his skills in culinary school. 

This Baconluxious Chocolate bar has a Maple sweetness, a bit of sea salt, and bacon mixed into milk chocolate. Sounds like nothing but perfection, which will now be put to the test. Opening it up, you are greeted by a unique word on each square

And if you pull it all out, you get this

So for the taste? It’s very unique. You get a lot of the saltiness right away, the bacon and salt combine to give the chocolate a very salty flavor. Crunchy because of the salt and bacon, but the chocolate itself is smooth, reminds me of flavor from World’s Finest Chocolate. It easily melts in your mouth to reveal the taste to come right behind it, all together giving you a delicious experience, one unexpected from chocolate in general, but very delicious regardless. 

Haribo comes back in its second appearance as a pocket size classic flavor variety. I grew up eating these all the time as my mom bought them. Their classic denseness with flavor everywhere is undeniably delicious. 

Other than being the classic bears since 1922, there’s not much else to say about these. Immediately you get a whiff of its sweet fruity scent, leading you to its flavortank. Popping the white one in, you’re hit with a hint of pineapple. Harder to chew through than most other gummy bears, though rewarding.

I’m gonna have Miles, my roommate try the red one (he got lucky). He describes it as very sweet a definite cherry taste being more sugary than fruity. He says he could eat 2 packs of these because of how good they are.

My other amigo, Marco will be tasting the orange/yellow gummy. He says it tastes like an orange. Comments that it doesn’t feel real life enough for it to taste like an actual fruit, whereas it’s moreso the color itself.

Lastly, the green one which tastes like strawberry, confuses you with a flavor distinct than a typical green apple taste you’d expect with most other gummies. 

Spun is almost done being spammed. Today will be the last entry for the regular hard candy, being I still have the sour ones left. 

To start it off with the white/green one, I can tell it has a green apple taste to it, recognizable from the green apple I ate earlier today. Very sweet, more of a candy-ish kind of apple, compared to a natural apple flavor. When biting this one, it was a lot more rigid than the other candies I’ve tried so far. 

I’m guessing that the orange ones are a mango flavor. After trying it, this is definitely a very fruity flavor, mango indeed. The white part at either side stays after the rest of the orange melts off, keeping that mango flavor even after the fact.

Moving onto the blue one, I would say this one is much sweeter than mango. Just like mango, the yellow part which has a very banana taste to it, remains once the rest of it melts away. 

Now onto the last one, the pink/blue starred one. Good stuff, reminds me of cotton candy at the beginning. Very sweet and has a strawberry hint to it alongside the cotton candy, creating a combination suitable for any sweet tooth.

Left one last one for me to enjoy Mango a second time.

Going back hard, we arrive at Spun with their candy. I’m with my friend who will help describe some flavors, since I left some for later last time. 

My friend starts off with the green one top left. He says it’s kinda minty, sweet with some apple to it. The flavor stayed the whole time, though he said it had its ins and outs at times. 

The bottom left one says ‘Candy Crush’ so I decided to try it out. I bit into it and you really get a powerful burst of its very sweet flavor. Strangely, it’s flavor remained undetectable. 

If you were wondering what the green one to the right tastes like, it gives off a peachy vibe. Sweet, fruity and peachy. 

This ball was actually inside of it and felt really strange at first but it definitely compliments the first part’s peachiness. 

Sorry

I’m sure we’ve all seen these in many places, everytime I see one of these I’m so tempted to get some to leisurely enjoy these, while it may be counterintuitive to its purpose. These chews are claimed by Gatorade to be Energy Designed For Athletes. The recommended serving size is all 6, amounting to 100 calories. Each gummi must not be too powerful, would probably be good to munch on throughout a workout. 

When you take a bite out of one, it’s very easy to chew through. The gummi’s consistency is strange just because you feel as if a sugary texture throughout it. Definitely adds to the flavor of it though it isn’t very distinguishable as fruit punch, it’s something that you could expect from a red gummi. That sugary texture stays with you a bit after you swallow it. 

Overall I feel these would fair well as workout gummi’s. If anything, I would mostly use these as a recovery to my workout, except I finished the pack by the time I finished the previous sentence.

Haribo, a classic gummi bear creator surely known for their delicious gummi bears. In the classic pack they supply an array of simple flavors to differentiate one another, with Raspberry, Orange, Pineapple, Lemon, and Strawberry. Though these flavors have been phenomenal, sometimes we like to mix it up which Haribo understands, which is why they came out with a Watermelon flavor served in its own bag.

This clearly looks amazing, I really doubt it needs much more explanation, I just wanna eat this (As I’m sure you could tell from the picture that I got a headstart). As soon as you put it in your mouth, you can immediately taste the Watermelon flavor. It tastes very natural and almost basically how you’d expect a watermelon gel to taste like. The texture is smooth and dense, biting into it isn’t a challenge but there’s definitely a bit of resistance which is smooth. 

The flavor carries all the way through the end. It’s hard not to down this whole bag in one sitting (good thing I divided it in two). I couldn’t resist myself and just took 5 in one mouthfull and don’t regret a single thing. Powerful yet not overbearing. The flavor is very present throughout, not very sugary, I’d place it among the mildly of sugary’s. 

Hard to not just give it an 11/11 but I’d have to give it an 8/11 which it is totally worthy of. I would recommend these in a heartbeat. There are a few other gummy bear brands that I want to compare. It’s an interesting world out there.

Back for another installment of the 7/11 series. They just treat us so well. As a disclaimer, the only reason I’m doing another review from 7/11 is because of T-Mobile, so if you’re all rattled up at the fact that you just read 7/11 5 times, you can blame them.

As I’m sure many of you already know, T-Mobile does something wonderful for its customers every Tuesday with the T-Mobile app. If you have T-Mobile and don’t have the app, you’re shooting yourself in the foot. On August 15, T-Mobile blessed us with a partnership with 7/11 to offer a free small slurpee when you go to any participating 7/11 and show the cashier the app. So what I’m about to do at 11:24 in the evening is drag my ass to 7/11 and finesse on one of these slushies. 

To be honest, I’m not a huge slurpee guy for the same reason I’m not a soda guy: The Fizz. In the end though, I can get over it. It’s not a big deal, I just don’t find it particularly pleasing for me, though I will do my best to give an unbiased review. Off to jamming in my car

Damn, this is pretty fizzy. I got wild cherry and cotton candy, poured cotton candy first then wild cherry, but I might’ve messed up when it came to pouring the wild cherry. It was a wet excretion at first and I had to open it up more for slush to push. 

I have to say, I’m not a huge fan of the wild cherry. Cotton candy, the few of it that I got, was actually pretty solid. Not too fizzy and a good flavor to it. I feel the wild cherry itself is much more in your face in terms of its flavor, being a little too wild for me. Mixed together I wouldn’t consider it to be a good combination but then again, to each their own as I’m sure there are some who like the combination. 

For me it just doesn’t really cut it. There was also a lemonade flavor and Pina Colada, and they're offering a lite version too, making it sugar free, easier on the body.

We’re all familiar with the circular chocolate candy, Ferrero Rocher. The expensive Hazelnut covered, chocolate covered hazelnut. Welp, aside from their expensive chocolates, they also wanted to make sure to take care of plebs like us by providing more affordable chocolate alternatives with their Tronky

I have no idea how much these cost, I’m just assuming these would be cheaper.

Making it simple and easy

And it’s spectacular. The wafer coating is easy to bite into, revealing the hazelnutty chocolate. The way the chocolate mixes with the bitten wafer creates a combination of chocolatey wafer, giving off the impression of crunchy chocolate. This chocolatey combination deserves at least an 8/10. I should probably start rating everything I review. I don’t know why I haven’t done so yet.
