Growing up in Echo Isle things like magic always seemed possible if not probably. There had been strange happenings for as long as she could remember. Sheβd always felt happy with her life here but longed for more. Beyond her home was a world with all sorts of questions and possibilities. Allison wasnβt sure if sheβd ever feel like something exciting happened around here the older she got. Well, that was until the Dennisonβs moved there. She met Max in class where he tried to give her his number to which she politely declined, returning it to him. All the things she found exciting he didnβt even believe to be true. Even if it wasnβt exactly as it was told she found something beautiful in the bewilderment. Then after showing up to her parents yearly party they took her on the adventure of a lifetime in outrunning the Sanderson Sisters. She couldnβt believe it, all the things sheβd been reading was right in front of her face but also out for souls. After returning that night sheβd learned a few things: one, that Max wasnβt that bad after all and two, she had to make sure things like this didnβt happen again. In fact, Allison became even more interested in studying lore and even that outside of Echo Isle. After graduation she knew exactly what she needed to do which was travel the world in exploration of that same lore sheβd been studying. She not only wanted to learn and research but help keep people safe from this magic among them. It was an incomplete dream though, Max deciding to not come with her. That had always been the thing between them was her belief in the strange outside of Echo Isle and Max had enough of what was right here. So she left but throughout her travels she never forgot him. She made sure to write to Dani postcards and little gifts whenever sheβd find something she knew sheβd like. Allison always knew sheβd come back eventually but wasnβt expecting it to be like this. There had been a lot of peculiar happenings that looked a lot like magic around Echo Isle and sheβs returned to check it out. Not mention sheβs been feeling a little strange lately, something calling her back home.Β
She sees Dani as a little sister of her own which is another reason why it had been so difficult to leave. Allison wasnβt sure if sheβd want to keep talking to her after the breakup but was happy to learn she did. In fact, she might be the onlyΒ
Halloween is her favorite time of year. Itβs when she feels like people can sometimes be the most themselves. Even though it also holds quite a terrifying night sheβs glad it all happened. Thatβs how she got to meet Max and Dani so sheβd do it all over again if she needed to.Β
Allison thinks she might want to stay in Echo Isle, missing the place sheβd called home after spending so long traveling. There is something about it that just feels right. She isnβt sure if itβs the place, the people, or both.
She works writing articles about her findings and their tie to historical events. Some of her research is actually quite respected though she isnβt one to ever talk about her success. In reality, Allison just wants people to know the truth and is happy to hear some are listening.
Keeping magic safe from people and vice versa is something that she is really driven by. She doesnβt think all magic is bad but wants to make sure people are ready to hear it, knowing it could be overwhelming.Β
There hasnβt really been anyone in her life since Max, instead she threw herself into her work. She didnβt have time for anything like that and in all honesty, she didnβt want to.Β
Now that sheβs back Allison is thinking about becoming a history teacher and stopping travel all together but she isnβt if she truly is ready to settle down yet.Β
