Blue eyes stay fixed on the girl before him as her fingers  move towards the mess on his neck with a slight pout. He  was never shown how exactly to tie a tie. With his father being gone and his mother ever home, it wasn’t exactly on his to do list. Her words wash down the nerves in his stomach when she beams about her father liking him, only to return at the mention of her grandparents. “Yeah, sure your grandparents are probably going to despise me the second they lay their eyes on me. A shrug takes place as he sighs, an arm wrapping around her waist as he tugs her closer, chin resting on top of her head with a near whine. And he knows he’s acting childish but he can’t help it. “Just go in there and get it over with” He mumbles to himself, fingers playing with parts of her dress. “Oiii,” The blonde whines, eyes rolling at her remarks of the mess. “It was one time and the whole thing wasn’t even really my fault if ‘ya think about it. Let’s blame the boys. They are the ones who always leave stuff around when they visit.” Oh sure, blame your friends for you forgetting to take the trash out. “Fine, but if they don’t like me, you won’t just up and leave.. right?”

He knew what it was the other wanted as he held out his arms, but a hug isn’t what Levi has waited these past four months for. He takes a leap towards the slightly shorter male, his hands reaching and cupping the sandy blonde’s face as he leans his own down, soft lips pressing against Ashton’s and right away the sense of home washes over him, surrounding him and becoming like a shield from the rest of this world. This was his therapy, not some stupid building with stupid quotes and stupid arts and craft time. “Ash. ‘ve missed you.” Levi hums into his fiance’s mouth before pulling back, only to wrap himself up in Ashton’s arms like a blanket. Home, home, home. “I’ve missed ‘ya so much.” Levi’s eyes flutter back home, meeting the green ones he’s missed waking up to with a slight pout. “Where’s Amelia, is she here? Or with someone else? I wanna see our baby.” Is a near demand but he’s sure that it doesn’t sound rude to Ashton, he’s sure that he’ll understand his eagerness to see the baby he had only gotten to spend a week with before he was taken away from his family. The thought of that day makes him cringe, biting down on his lip to keep it from trembling. “Promise you wont let ‘em take me again?”

   Slender fingers wrap around the black tie on his neck as he fiddles with it, cursing under his breath at each failed attempt to tie it correctly, pleading crystal blue eyes search the room for the other as he sighs. “What if they don’t like me? What if they think I’m annoying or what if they think I’m bad for you because I’m in a band.” Really the band thing isn’t such a big deal considering it was an indie folk band but still, he was panicked. “Okay but do I have to meet your family tonight? What if we were to put it off just a slight bit longer.” Like a year wasn’t enough putting ‘meet the family’ off already. 

   His black bag stuffed with clothes and letters, even arts and crafts projects he made and he feels downright silly, like a child waiting to be picked up from camp. A nurse stands next to him, her hand placed gently on his shoulder and perhaps she’s still worried about him trying something, maybe that’s why she has her long fingers wrapped around his shoulder. Levi bites his lip roughly and glances around the corner as the sound of a car engine fills his ears. His heart pounds in his chest and a near nervous feeling rests at the bottom of his stomach. It’d been four months since Levi had seen Ashton and today was the day, the day he’d be let free from the dark grey building, no longer would he have to deal with the hauntingly white walls with quotes about sunshine coming his way. A sigh of happiness spills from his lips as he stretches out on his toes, flinching as the elderly nurse digs her nails into him. “He’s coming.” Levi speaks to the lady, his tongue darting out to wet his lips as a smile brakes through, the first one since the day the he was taken from Ashton for his “own good” he never saw the good in it though, it was more pain and torture.
