Candied Grim

I just made the very hard decision to delete my CandiedGrim Instagram. I’m tired of being exploited by platforms. I still haven’t been able to get back into regularly drawing since I learned my art had been scraped by Ai and there was nothing I could do about it. It’s led me to endless existential dread and a complete falling out of love with art that, despite my best attempts, I haven’t been able to recover from. Even after all this time. I spent two years straight playing the game and making constant content. I fought for almost 10k followers and I’ve slowly been losing them ever since. I just don’t have the heart to post my work there. I don’t think a perfect platform exists. But if you’re an artist, I think you should consider platforms that won’t defile your rights and break your creative spirit. If anyone has any info about Tumblr’s safety as a platform for artists that I should know, please share. I’m trying to find where I can settle down.
