I’m crying now because hate is winning in my country.

I’m crying now to think of all the gay people who are afraid of the future, as I am now.

I’m crying now for all the black people who can not see a future anymore.

I’m afraid now for all the women who will have a president who apologizes to rape.

I’m screaming because he wants to distribute weapons to the population, for the population that already kills us without weapons.

I’m afraid, I’m afraid and afraid, ‘cause the things could get worse for us.

I just ask,

for all who read this,

that pray for Brazil

because your brothers here are so scared to die for being who we are

and we’re begging for help

So please, listen to us

because we are afraid

Darren Wilson, the officer responsible for the murder of Michael Brown, will once again not be charged with any crime follwing a new investigation. Michael Brown was an unarmed 18 year old whose murder sparked #HandsUpDontShoot and the Black Lives Matter movement back in the summer of 2014. The court system was never designed for justice, despite its claims, and it still works that way today.

Micheal Brown is the reason I learned about the court and prison system back in high school. I learned everything I could about the legal system, prisons, segregation, police, and it radicalized me.
