despite how illegal lolicon is in certain countries i just don’t know if there’s a middle ground for it i just don’t believe it

every time someone mentions loli/shota/cub it always gets watered down as csam or something else despite the content being categorized under canadian law as actual child porn, and i just sit here finally taking in all these posts

is this really the thing i want to defend despite it doing obvious harm to others? like i literally developed an addiction to this kind of content, but not once have i ever acted on an urge relating to the csa depicted in the content itself, and i never even thought of drawing any of my child characters in graphic situations like this, because it would genuinely hurt me and others if it ever resurfaced, if it did. 

but aside from that… what am i ever gonna do? i cannot ever defend it because (as mentioned above) it absolutely *is* illegal and impossible to try and neutralize by virtue of the law and moral code, and if i even try to not care about loli discourse then it automatically means i don’t care about the harm it does to actual children. it’s sick. it’s just absolutely sickening

but after thinking thru a lot about this (and im genuinely trying to give you people context): this kind of content is protected by the 1st amendment in the state i live, it doesnt impede on my social life or anything else and ive kept it private for now, but i still find people defending it repugnant regardless if they’re lolicons or not.

i think i can finally get rid of this after 5 years of being an active weirdo on the internet … thank god

context—these two are characters i’ve kept since summer of last year, and i feel i want to improve their chemistry by completely redesigning them to look more approachable. not gonna show any refs because that’s boring but just know… i was way too into making some of my female characters lesbian (not that that’s bad!)
