Its their best album imo, so much energy and momentum. Can we talk about the random psy trance song in the middle? Unexpected, but so so good - they have a knack for songs like that

Ultraista are definitely a band I hope to see live if international live music ever happens again. This album was exactly the kind of music I was missing in my life.

Tin King is a huge song and the rest of the album holds up too.

Intermittently throughout listening to Fountain i caught myself humming along!!! I never do that so there’s definitely something special about this album

This marked the triumphant day that I stopped sleeping on Sofi Tukker and their irresistible knack for dance bops.

This album’s singles cemented Birds Of Tokyo as one of the Australian pop rock bands to be remembered, and one of the few to break into mainstream.

Good album. Makes up for all the years triple j didn’t give Paramore a second thought. I look forward to their future projects and how they improve or defy their formula, the possibilities are endless.

The four singles (from Incapable onwards) leading up to this album are some of my favourite songs from the last 2 years, they consistently floored me! Their production was decorous and pristine, and that married perfectly to the nuanced dissections of love she expressed powerfully in her mantras. They were like a perfect capsule collection of Roisin Murphy’s discography and life story.

Intimacy is the most rewarding Bloc Party album. Maximalist production and chaotic rhythms may make it seem unapproachable but its worth it for the emotion, energy, and catchy hooks

Is there anything quite like revisiting an album from your childhood only to find out a direct sequel is being released for it that very week? And its pretty good! How lucky I am

Skulltaste is responsible for some of my favourite songs when I was initially getting into music 10 years ago. I’m glad I can look back on it so fondly and enjoy it even more now.

Still Here has been living rent free in my head for weeks. Makes me think about how little things have changed over the years.

This 7EP’s appalling craftsmanship makes me question why anyone acknowledges this man’s music in the first place. I’m sure his real debut album out soon will be better at least.

11/10 would floss again.

There are some real choices throughout CFN that bring it down (i wont elaborate), and I don’t see any individual tracks being essential in the future, at least not moreso than the original singles from Future Nostalgia.
