Hi everyone! Camillus Con has been meeting again and we are looking for new volunteers! :)

If you live in the central New York state area, we would love to have you aboard! Please download the linked application from Google Docs and fill it out, then email it to [email protected]. We will review each and every application and email you back if we end up choosing you!

We will most likely be picking nearly all, if not absolutely all, of the volunteers who take the time to apply.

It would be wonderful if you could come volunteer with us; we really would love to have more volunteers who can become friends with us. :)

Zoe Osborne is 15 years old ("too young") and she has been working for the convention for two years. She currently attends school in Marcellus. 

Zoe's fandoms are Dangan Ronpa, Sailor Moon, and Homestuck. When asked about her dream job, Zoe replied, "What's a job." She thinks she is soooooooo funny! (She is, in all reality.)

Her favorite color is anything pastel, and she said that her hobbies and interests are Macklemore and pastel clothes. I'm not kidding, that's basically a direct quote.

Peter Lammey is 18 years old and has been volunteering for the convention for two years! He is going to attend Nazareth College this fall. 

His fandoms are mainly Firefly, Superwholock, and SNK. However, Peter says that he also has "like a billion others", which I am sure is true. Peter's favorite color is black and/or purple.

Peter's interests and hobbies include writing, playing music, writing music, listening to music, and crying over TV shows. (Seriously, if you get him talking about Scrubs, he will not stop.)

His dream job is to be the frontman or bass player for a successful punk band.

Ezra is one of our new volunteers; he is 15 years old and has been working for the convention for one year. He currently attends West Genesee Sr. High School.

There are numerous fandoms that Ezra is a part of, including Doctor Who, Sherlock, Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Marvel. 

Ezra and a group of his friends are working hard to create a Doctor Who spin-off series entitled The Impossible Dream, and their GoFundMe can be found here, if you're willing to check it out!

That project aligns with quite a few of Ezra's interests and hobbies, namely writing, editing, and film-making. He also enjoys movies and the occasional gaming.

Ezra's favorite color is orange and his dream job is to be a film or TV director.

Harper Badeau is one of the four co-founders of this convention and have been working for it for two years so far. They are 18 and currently attend SUNY Potsdam.

Their fandoms include Les Miserables, Harry Potter, Homestuck, Hetalia, and YouTubers. They write a lot of fanfiction and if you talk to them about any of their fandoms they will automatically consider you their friend.

Harper's hobbies are mainly reading and writing, but they also enjoy singing and "taking long walks at midnight because I'm a vampire". Their favorite color is orange and their dream job is to be a best-selling novelist.

Bree Argiro is one of the four co-founders of this convention! She is currently 18 and attends school at SUNY Potsdam. She's been working for the convention for two years now.

Her main fandoms are Les Mis, DC & Marvel, Harry Potter, Star Trek, and Merlin. If you talk with her about any of these fandoms, it's more than likely she's going to totally geek out with you! :) Her favorite color is blue, and her hair actually used to be this color for quite some time.

Sam Lee is one of the four co-founders of the convention! She is 19 and currently attends school at SUNY Cortland, where she plays Quidditch. She has been working for the convention for two years.

There are many fandoms that Sam is a part of, including Superwholock, DC & Marvel, Harry Potter, Disney, and 5SOS. Her hobbies include reading, watching TV, playing Quidditch, and sailing. Sam's favorite color is blue and a lot of her clothing reflects that! :)

Anissa Croft is one of the four co-founders to this convention! She is 18 years old and currently attends Onondaga Community College, otherwise known as OCC. Her dream job is to be a teacher.

Her fandoms are: Hetalia, Welcome to Night Vale, Dont Hug Me Im Scared, Superwholock, SNK, Disney, TFioS, FMA, POV, LotBTD, Homestuck, Marvel, and as she put it, “the fandom I forgot I love you I’m so sorry I promise”. Isn't she a cutie? :)

Anissa takes great interest in role-playing, cosplaying, reading and writing. Some of her other interests include school, cuddles and hugs, singing, dancing, and shoes. Her favorite color is polka-dots, as she says.

Every few days, we're going to have a post about one of our volunteers from the 2014 convention! This is to not only make us more accessible to people, but to also showcase the hardworking individuals who made this convention possible.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been supporting us, to all those who showed up, and a special thank you to everyone who stayed and talked with us during the closing panel. We couldn't do this without you!  Over the next year we will be looking for more volunteers to help us, as we are hoping to expand to the OCC campus.

We are EXTREMELY excited for the day of our second annual Camillus Con, and we cannot believe that the day is here so soon!

If you haven't already signed up, please do so here! We will be accepting walk-ins, but as the space has a maximum capacity of 100 guests, it would be best to pre-register!

Camillus Con is a fan gathering for people who are interested in various "fandoms" such as anime, webcomix, Magic the Gathering, TV shows such as Dr. Who and...

Hey, everyone! Our dear friend Corey created this video for us, as a trailer for our convention! It shows a lot of great clips from last year's convention and that can tell you how fantastic it will be this year!

We are considering making lots of fun buttons with numerous cute designs on them to sell at the convention this year! There would be a design with a Tardis, a design with aliens, and a design with a genie bottle.

The prices would be 50 cents for one button, and a special deal of 5 buttons for $2!
