Jesse: I get what you mean. I just don't want to wake up to another tear down aimed at the people I love and care about. Gossip Girl keeps pushing things too far and it can only get worse. Someone has to stand up to them.

“I guess I must have missed that. Surprisingly you guys didn’t slap your name on every object in this room. Was that the Knightly touch? Seems like her classy input. This is a party after all, not a Grand Prix racecar.” Lyndsy snarked with a grin, fake as they come. She was embarrassed and angry and hurt–and it was all her own fault. She didn’t handle that well.

“Well not as nice as me, obviously, but kudos for trying.” Lyndsy said with a roll of her eyes, anger flashing hot inside her again.

“Considering we’ve never put our name all any place, I’d have to say you must be having delusions again. Are you off your meds? Maybe your sister can help you with that, since you always seem to have some kind of identity crisis.” Camille was unfazed on the surface by this banter. She’d had the same kind of banter plenty with Juliette and other girls. Their history made a deep cut, but she was reminded that it wasn’t only herself that Lyndsy hurt, but her brother and that was the lowest you could go with Camille.
