What she means: I'm so sick of people making Calum out to be the "bad guy". He's been living under the pressure of the spotlight since he was seventeen, having his every move watched, dissected, criticized, and blown out of proportion by not only the media, but by his "fans" who should be here to support him and his music, but instead relentlessly harass him to the point where he doesn't want to interact with anyone. I'm tired of hearing "Calum shouldn't smoke!¡!" and "Calum shouldn't be getting involved with '''groupie drama'''!!!" and "Calum should've learned his lesson with nudes by now LOLS!1!1!!" because you know what Calum shouldn't do? He shouldn't be FUCKING HARASSED and DEMONIZED BY PEOPLE WHO CLAIM TO SUPPORT HIM in living out his dreams. He is a 19 YEAR OLD ADULT who is perfectly capable of making their own responsible decisions and does NOT NEED or DESERVE to be treated the way some "fans" treat him. He CHOOSES to go on tours and make music for us, because it's what he loves and because we love him. So maybe we should start giving back to him with a little respect, because he's given us his entire life.
