“I don’t miss OWLs,” Xavier grumbled. “You’ll be fine.” 

“I doubt it. I feel like I haven’t be able to properly breath since the school year started.”

Alaska snorted, “Ok, but where did that even come from.”

“Maybe I just want an excuse to Hex someone.”

“Really? That’d be perfect!” She relaxed, sighing with relief. “You’re a lifesaver, you know that?”

“You’re welcome,” Penn laughed.

“Oh, wow,” Siobhan grinned, barely scoffing back a laugh. “That wasn’t a laugh! Ok, but for real, please tell me that name is dying with you. Like you’re not going to continue the family name and all that crap, right?”

“Oh, please,” Penn rolled his eyes. “I hate my name. Like I’d be stupid enough to pass it on. As soon as I’m 18, I’m going to legally change my name to Penn Lake. And I am definitely not naming any sons after me.”

“Do you want to switch rounds with me? I’ve got the late shift tomorrow, I’ll take literally anything you don’t want, I’m desperate.”

Sabrina nodded. “Yeah, I’ve come to learn that.”

“I can’t believe half the school year is almost over. It feels like we just got back from summer break.”

“See I don’t want to promise that because you’re seriously building up the suspense, but also I need to know now. Eurgh, fine, I promise.”

“Fine. I was born Pendington Miles Wallace. IV.”

“It’s in the years of payback for babysitting handbook,” Amy replied.
