“Yeah.. I don’t think you’ll be flying for very long,” she shook her head, making a noise with her lips that could only be seen as ‘falling down’ and mercilessly, finishing off with a ‘plumph’.

“What makes you think that you're going to stay in the air?”

“You’re obviously going to get hurt when you join that dense thing of a game. Look at you! You can’t even put on a shirt without falling over,” Calla exasperated, something about the whole situation making her frustrated. “And this is on steady land. You’re gonna be up there floating on a measly broomstick!” she sighed, crossing her arms.  

“I think it’s helpful for someone in their clear head to get you to stay off the field and from dying, if I say so myself. And hon, if you think this is messed up, I’m pretty sure a crack to the head will be even messier,” Calla replied. She honestly didn’t feel like she was being rude, as brutal honesty was always a talent for her.

“Yeah, I get that a lot,” Calla chuckled under her breath slightly. First impressions aren’t friendly with her, and vice versa. She tended to have no filter, and she wasn’t ashamed of that to be perfectly honest. “Not a great one at that,” she winced, knowing that it probably sounded even ruder at this point. “I mean, last thing anyone would want is another death in this castle. Plus I heard that blood’s really hard to clean off the field.” Nice, Calla.. nice.

"Is it being rude or being honest? -- Perhaps both, actually,” Calla shrugged at the other girl. “I mean, didn’t you say you were a klutz? Safe to stay off the field and broom, in my opinion.”

“There are two types of people, after all,” Calla mused, squeezing her baby sister’s cheeks together with one hand, giggling a bit at the sight. “You’re more accustomed to this place than I’ve ever been, so I have no worries about leaving you here,” she responded with a chuckle, though truth seethed through her joking tone as well. Calla scoffed at her sister’s offer, hitting Briar’s leg slightly, offended in a happy manner. “Hey, I have friends too, you know!” she insisted. She had a few close friends, though outside of the small circle of probably three or five, that was probably it -- and it included Briar.. sadly. “Patroni are real, right?” the older girl muttered, eyes falling to the floor now. 

“Right.. there,” she muttered, the point of her index finger floating in front of his face, slightly by his nose before letting her hand fall again. “Oh, wow,” Calla sighed, chuckling at his response. “Yeah, let’s not expand on that thought, hm? -- And no, I tend to avoid those things. It’s always musty, Top 40 is constantly playing, and the fruit punch sucks.”
