Where to start... well i'm 21 and in love with my amazing girlfriend Caitlyn, i live on this boring old island people call Cape Cod. i like it here but all i want to do is leave. i want to move to California and hopefully open my own board shop someday. i love longboarding, lazy beach days, cooking, and spending time with my girlfriend friends and family. "One Day" is my quote to my life because one day i will have everything i want and need. its a small saying that keeps me moving forward and reaching for my goals.

I just want to feel happy even if it kills me

Does it get easier...

I fucking hope it does. I've struggled with depression on and off for a few years now and ever since my motorcycle accident I can feel it trying to drag me down... I try to stay positive and keep pushing to recover quicker but every victory I have is met with more doubt and more uncertainty. I can never use my big to again but I still have it and my foot for that matter but when I started walking in my cast I was happy for a few fleeting moments, then I was met with the realization of the impact that toe had. Then I started walking in sneakers and again a few moments of happiness then more realization how messed up I actually am and how my foot does not work as it should.

Why am I the one ruined now? The accident was the other guys fault, he was not paying attention and I was but it was unavoidable, why is it that his careless actions ruined my life. I almost lost my foot and what I do have I'm trying to relearn to walk and deal with all this pain physically and emotionally and now being out of work so long I'm worried about losing my house and my truck and everything I've worked so hard for. Why is my life circling the breakthrough no fault of my own. My life is ruined for the foreseeable future and it wasn't my fault. I hope this gets fucking easier because I don't know how much longer and how much more I can take...
