Caleb Liam Vazquez
Caleb Liam Vazquez was born somewhere between the summer and the fall months in 2007, a username he had (pyrogaming2007) can attest for this. He was born to his father, Marco Vazquez and his mother, Lilliana Vazquez. His family explained in their statement that they condemned his actions and that their family came from a long history of ethnicities.
Caleb Vazquez was confirmed to have autism in not only his manifesto, but also his families statement, they had not stated what was challenging and what wasn't to him, however. They noted that Caleb had grown to resent parts of him, yet what parts of he hated are unknown.
It is speculated that the internet and the people around Caleb Vazquez were the things to contribute to his violent ideologies and radicalization.
There is little to know about his childhood, but it is noted that he attended Washington Elementary school up until 5th grade before he had ultimately left the San Diego schooling district somewhere in 2018. He then later graduated from High Tech High Chula Vista.
During his stay at his highschool, he had reportedly been bullied by a transgender student named Kai/Vivicia. There had also been multiple instances where Caleb had dressed as/similarly to Luigi Mangione, the perpetrator of the killing of the United Health Care CEO Brian Thompson and the fictional serial killer character Dexter Morgan according to the gun restriction order made by a detective in the Chula Vista Police Department.
Court documents explain that police had done a welfare check due to the restraining order after Caleb Vazquez, who was 17 at the time, told his friend not to come to school the next day. The court documents discuss that Vazquez had developed an interest in Nazism and that was deemed concerning by those around him, he told the emergency psychiatrist response team that had met with him that he was becoming increasingly infatuated with mass shootings and World War II. He also noted that he did a lot of this research on the dark web, that way it couldn't be linked back to him. Vazquez was then placed on a psychiatric hold, and his father vouched to keep a watchful eye on him.
In another event that sounded the alarm bells with High Tech High Chula Vista officials, Caleb Vazquez was seen punching a tree and expressing violent and irrational behaviors. This was presumably due to a break up he had with his girlfriend in 2024. Another incident, he said that he had looked like someone in a concentration camp after shaving his head. He would also frequently point bananas at people and act as if they were guns. Caleb had told school officials that he had wanted to join the military for the potential risk of dying.
According to their close mutual friend, Caleb Vazquez and Cain Clark met online via their shared interests in the web series ongezellig. They also bonded over their mutual hate and began to radicalize each other overtime.
Vazquez was described as an awkward, polite, and a very troubled young man who depended on people quite a lot. He unforunately did not accept the help he was given by his parents and was oftentimes stubborn about it, resulting in him seeing and spending much more time with his grandmother, according to one of his ex girlfriends.
He mainly focused on his interest in Ongezellig, which was then described as a hyperfixation by one of his close friends. Caleb was interested in airsofting and he would tend to go with his father, Marco Vazquez, and his brother. Caleb would often play Gmod with his friends and recreate mass shootings in it, according to his ex girlfriend.
Caleb Vazquez was neither Left winged or Right winged. He was a third positionist and aligned with national socialism and eco-fascism. He identified with being straight, which is confirmed by both his and Cain's mutual friend. He also began to browse incel related forums, despite having a girlfriend.
