idk how anyone could look at the shit the DNC is putting out and not see monumental political and ideological crisis on the horizon. democrats pivoting to all the discourses of progressiveness and diversity as a way to pacify the left and rehabilitate their image while doing literally nothing materially, especially on the economic front, is actively setting themselves up for collapse. as a sad attempt to negate left wing critique of the american political system they’ve tried to give empire and capitalist exploitation a (diverse) human face and its incredibly easy for the right to attack that. it actively furthers a right-wing nationalist narrative that they are the ones being maligned/forgotten/oppressed by a hypocritical liberal establishment. and they are hypocritical and literally everyone can see that, and no amount of black female vice presidents will change that the american political and economic system is visibly rotting from within. the democrats and every company trying to save face and profit from supporting BLM and gay rights and shit are making it easy for the right to claim that left wing views are hegemonic, when its really rhetorical appeasement meant to prevent a real radical left movement from forming, while keeping all the capitalist and imperial structures intact. theyre giving reactionaries more fuel for the narrative that left wing views are taking over and trump and others need to restore america, while actively undermining the actual left. so we as radicals and communists are the ones getting doubly fucked over
