mini break time again

From our first date to our one year anniversary there’s been a question that’s followed us. It’s never directly asked to you or even me but we hear it in the whispers of “polite” society, where the only thing polite is just adhering to the social norms. But it’s always asked “What does she see in him?”

On the outside we are a fairly normal couple if not a little to sweet with each other that some find it saccharine. We go out to eat, see movies and shows, and even picnic in the park. Even though I take a little longer to get there and even longer to leave, the question follows.

When they see a small and fit woman who’s body shows the effort of her work hanging off a large soft man that people think has taken no effort in his body at all, they let the question slip in a soft whisper enough to show they shouldn’t be judging but still do. What they don’t know is the difference between you and them.

He was made to be fat. From the first days you saw him, he was just out of shape. A light layer of soft fat was forming on his body and he was eating like he didn’t care. She didn’t know that he was also slowly coming to the same conclusion as her on his own. He was made to be fat.

They started out dating as normally as any others besides a buffet for a third date. By that point he made it known that they shared the same idea by making a show of the buffet with the unintentional encore of having to wait in the car for the food to settle before he could manage to get back out.

After that they both agreed that it’s only natural for his waistline to expand and his body to soften. And one year later, a few new stretch marks, and couple dozen pounds heavier they both head back to their favorite date spot the buffet to see if he can out do their first time here. After all
