It's okay to vivisect someone if they're into it enough

marketing & merchandizing classes for me! all of my professors really felt very strongly about funeral service being a business and money being the most important thing. we aren't salesmen before we're service professionals, imo. always left a bad taste in my mouth.

I had to reblog this as soon as I saw this cause I couldn’t possibly agree more. Yes, it’s a business, all services are businesses, but we work in the industry of CARING. Morticians don’t make a lot of money. We don’t nor should we go into the industry for the money. I’ve straight up had a former coworker of mine say “I’m not paid enough to care” if you don’t care you shouldn’t work this industry. We’re here to love and support families, not make money, if you don’t like that this isn’t the industry for you. I’m glad I’m not the only person who believes this.
