5J / KLM Seat Review Aircraft: Boeing 777-300ER Class: World Business Class Flight: KL808 TPE-AMS Power: yes USB: yes AVOD: yes I've flown the "really old" KLM World Business Class seats that really only recline to 45 degrees, and the new fully flat ones. This v1.5 looks a lot like Air France's outgoing Affaires product but feels SO MUCH BETTER to sleep on. I just had an really nice 10h sleep from Taipei to Amsterdam and I didn't miss the missing window. It really doesn't matter much since these will all soon be replaced, but MY GOD, who hid the headphones jack there?! I hope they're long fired and prosecuted.

7F / TAROM Seat Review Aircraft: Boeing 737-700 Class: Economy Flight: RO362 AMS-OTP Power: no USB: no AVOD: no These large, antiquated, seats on the TAROM Boeing have been designed for an alien civilization of huchback-spined balls that left Earth hundreds of years ago. Nothing is less comfortable to sit on but maybe a prison stool or the NYC subway benches. These seats are the same throughout the cabin. Row 7 is at least at the front, there's almost two windows for 7F (row 6 is missing one) and the legroom is the ultimate TAROM redemption.

11C / Delta Seat Review Aircraft: Boeing 717 Class: Comfort+ Flight: DL2767 SFO-LAX Power: yes USB: yes AVOD: no This seat is comfortable and new. Rows 11-13 are such Comfort+ fancy seats. It's a short 1,5h hop but there's power and WiFi. I'm happy with the choice.

Very generous legroom. This right side of the plane sports only two seats abreast so acces to the isle is easy. Left is the usual three. It's a short 1,5h hop with no power but with WiFi. It was a good choice.

01A / Swiss Seat Review Aircraft: Airbus A320 Class: Business Flight: LX1885 OTP-ZHR Power: no USB: no AVOD: no Seats are economy class grade. Standard two windows. Comfortable, yet too close to the bulkhead. Service was nice and made up for the rather flat feel of the premium cabin.

10A / Delta Seat Review Aircraft: Airbus A319 Class: Comfort+ Flight: DL2592 LAX-MSY Power: yes USB: yes AVOD: yes, in armrest This seat is in the new Delta cabin with mood lighting and LED reading lights. Due to confusing overhead panel layout everyone seemed to push the "Call attendant" button instead of the reading light switch. The seats are comfortable and new. Row 10 has absolutely crazy legroom. I would often find the AVOD upsetting, however. It's tucked below the seat and protruding impeading your legs if you like to tuck them behind your seat like I sometimes do. Probably the best seat in the house.

1A / Air France Seat Review Aircraft: Airbus A320 Class: Business (Affaires) Flight: AF1088 OTP-CDG Power: no USB: no AVOD: no These are the newer seats. I don't find them very comfortable. As soon as I sat on it I felt the need to recline it. There's no power. The wall is missing a window and the bulkhead may feel a little too close. I think 2A may have been a better option.

The refreshed cabin looks nice and smells good too. These leather seats are comfortable to sit but they don’t sport good ventilation and are not comfortable to sleep on despite hear rests to lean on. Row 5 can be converted to business class by moving the divider, so this seat had bot the pitch and the good legroom of the aft class. Nice choice.

I very much like the idea of Premium Economy, but it’s in not replacement for business class on longer flights. Service is nicer, food is better, the seats wider and more comfortable. Excellent legroom, hard shell so the other travellers won’t recline into your private space, enormous table trays, airbag seat belts, flexible reading lights. Although heaps better than regular economy, I don’t find sleep more comfortable in these seats. Row 14 out of 4 at the back of the PE cabin - with two abreast - was the best choice on this flight.
