Took this photo a year or two ago; just recently found out what that giant ladybug looking thing is. A Giant Lady Beetle, Anatis lecontei. (who'da thunk). Pictured right next to a more regular sized ladybug.

A couple of Lizards I had a photoshoot with. Possibly Sceloporus undulatus? I'm not very familiar with reptiles. c: I assure you, I'm not squeezing them in the pictures, lol.  They both went free in my yard (where I found them) after the shoot.

Photoshoot with a Swallowtail Butterfly. The wings had some damage, but it could still get around pretty well, luckily!

New Mantis!

Had this guy for about a week ... he died today. :( Not sure why, he had plenty of everything he needed as far as I could tell. I really wanted to keep him alive, but now he shall have a place in my bug collection.

Caught my first tarantula a couple of days ago. It's a young male. There are at least three types of tarantulas in Colorado that all look pretty similar, so I don't have an exact ID yet. He is my new love! <3
