For fem version of IDNAP Would fem macaque tease wukong about her breast size?
Also how sensitive would she be to teasing on aspects like that? She has the humiliation thing but does she sometimes take that sort of thing to heart??
(Rambling for a sec: For fem wukong in this au i speculate the pressure to maintain a perfect appearance would be quite heavier since she's a woman and the standards that women have in society to "look pretty and perfect"
Like yeah, reg male wukong already is super high maintenance about and worried on his appearance, I just feel that it would be like much much much worse for fem wukong due to gender roles bs and their incredibly high (and impossible) standards for women :( like maybe she (or he as well idk) would have body dysmorphia or something?
Im just bringing this up because of how much a character's story can change based on gender and how society treats it- and with wukong's prestigious upbringing (and controlling ass parents who are super held up on having perfect appearances) im guessing that gender change for her would make quite the impact for her?? Macaque would definitely tease her about her chest size. Like expensively. Just "I don't need to a listen to a flat chestes bitch like you" sort of thing just all the time.
It is something sensitive for wukong, not majorly but she would feel insecure about it every time Macaque brought it up and start doing things like crossing her arms over her chest or wearing slightly more padded bras to hide it. But then seggs would happen, and Macaque would use it as a point of sexy degrading instead of a genuine insult, like male Macaque degrades wukong.
After that it would rewire her brain a little and she'd be more flustered than insecure whenever macaque mentioned it.
And yes being a girl would greatly effect her upbringing, but I think it would improve it a lot as well. For instance, she would never be expected to take over the family business. It's a "mans" role, so she wouldnt have to deal with work or that kind of pressure like og wukong has. She wouldn't be expected to be extremely clever or strong, instead they'd basically say "sit there and look pretty like a girl should" which all though sounds easier, is still damaging in its own way.
She'd most likely be expected to marry soon, like an arranged marriage and in place of all male Wukong's classes and tutoring she'd be learning how to be a good housewife and look pretty and be lady like. Her mother would dote on her but the moment she even remotely slipped up it would be hell. It would be a lot of pressure to basically remain as this perfect statue in their family image and be treated like she couldn't really do much else.
Her parents would either have her marry as soon as she was 18 so they could pass the business onto her husband, or continue having kids till they had a boy, leaving her to be even more neglected as they dote and adore their son and treat her like less for being a women.
I like thinking about this. It's the same setting but the smallest detail like gender can have such a huge effect. I think it's a cool concept and I liked thinking about it :3
