twilight sparkle: the group leader. cold and calculated. just wants to keep her friends safe. no longer in contact with princess celestia.

rarity: the medic. her sewing skills, attention to detail, and steady hoof make her perfect for the job.

rainbow dash: the scout. keeps a lookout from above, and sometimes flies ahead to find shelter or watch ahead for danger while the group is traveling. will sometimes cover her mane with mud or tar when shes trying not to attract too much attention. careful when she needs to be but wont hesitate to throw herself head first into a dangerous situation. will thrash your ass and not feel bad about it.

fluttershy: the forager. looks for herbs both for eating and medicinal purposes. knows her way around the woods. can use her soft voice and big eyes to sweet talk enemy ponies — good for getting out of hairy situations.

apple jack: the hunter and the muscle. good at tracking and trapping. resourceful, and knows how to make do with very little. very strong, good with intimidation and hoof to hoof combat.
