Mira:

Mira is quite forward, so she just discusses her (typical vent/involuntary agere) symptoms during a huntrix family meeting, but is unaware of it being agere. Zoey is accutely aware of what is happening to Mira (because she does it too) and explains it to Mira and Rumi while removing the detail that she knows so much because she is a regressor herself. Zoey prepared herself to comfort Mira or descalate a fight in case either reacts poorly, but everyone is pretty calm and factual about it. This is partially due to Mira already being in therapy and partially because Zoey explains it in a way that isn't shameful. Mira asks Zoey and Rumi to help look out for her, and they promise that they would.

Zoey:

Zoey has always regressed (since American high school), and is incredibly ashamed of it. This only eases a bit when her regression gives her the knowledge to help Mira, but she still won't tell Mira and Rumi because she's worried she will scare them off by being "too needy". Mira actually confronts her and Zoey tells Mira that she's scared that they'll find her annoying and that she thinks Mira deserves it more than she does. Mira is (rightfully) apalled and reminds Zoey not to compare traumas and that if Zoey doesn't resent looking after her, then Mira wouldn't mind returning the favor. They tell Rumi together and Rumi promises to look after them both.

Many years go by, I think Mira and Zoey discuss agere almost right after they stop living with Celine, while Rumi's regression isn't discussed until post-canon when there are no more secrets between the girls.

Rumi:

I think about your little Mira stuff genuinely all of the time. It is so cute and she is so baby-

Mira definitely takes Rumi and/or Zoey with her when they play hide and seek with Bobby! He finds it very cute when they doze off in their hiding spot together or get caught up in their own conversations to realise that they're still playing a game with the premise of "don't get found"...

I know I said I wasn't going to do a teenre Mira post but she exists in my brain...and then I thought there's no way Zoey doesn't go "wait right you can do that. I should do that." after she sees Mira teen regressing, and then I got too many ideas for them as a pair. So, here they are. <3

They're both around 14-16

Sold together do not seperate! They can kid regress on their own and neither of them teen regress super often so it's not a big deal, but Zoey must have regressed Mira by her side to feel comfortable.

Mira is both an involuntary and voluntary regressor. In early Huntrix days (think when Mira was 17-18), she struggled with emotional regulation, resulting in very angry arguments with both Celine and Rumi. It still happens, but extremely rarely. She mostly voluntary regresses now. Zoey is fully a voluntary teen regressor and usally schedule teenage hangouts with Mira.

Speaking of Rumi, she does try to regress to a similar age as them, but she usually ends up much younger than either of them.

CG Rumi is very lax with them. She trusts their competence through witnessing them during their hunter training. She basically reminds them to not go missing and not get caught as demon hunters and they can be on their merry way.

Despite Rumi being a chill cg, Mira still gets in trouble sometimes. Zoey once helped get Mira out of some trouble with Rumi (likely because Mira forgot to text Rumi she was okay, that girl likes forgetting that Rumi is worried for her wellbeing). Afterwards, Mira told Zoey that she was like the older sibling she wished her brother was, who got her out of trouble and loved her even when she screwed up. Rumi had to promptly hold Zoey back from fighting Mira's brother.

CG Rumi is also very good at calming Mira down, by listening and talking calmly and rationally. That helps Mira realize she doesn't have to yell to be heard.

Mira likes taking Zoey to her pre-huntrix friends, who know of Mira's teenre (not her littler side though, that side of her is for her family alone) and they take to Zoey almost instantly. They rib Mira playfully about how different Zoey is to her and Zoey gets really worried about them hurting Mira's feelings but Mira laughs just tells Zoey her friends like to do that

"It's okay, Zo. They're just stupid and annoying. They've said much worse before."

Mira uses this opportunity to tell Zoey that her old high school was wrong. That Zoey is lovable and interesting and very easy to like

They both love the arcade, and love taking Rumi with them. If it's little!Rumi is with them, they'll give her all their tickets so she can pick a prize. If not, they'll usually end up with another turtle plush. Mira isn't particularly fond of arcade toys generally, but she always drags the girls to the photobooth so that she also has a keepsake

If only teens!Mira and Zoey are with little!Rumi, Expect Chaos. They are very prone to spoiling their little sister, and there's not a single adult to insist they shouldn't give little Rumi cookies and ice cream for dinner. And neither Zoey nor Mira wants to suggest "being responsible" when little Rumi is delightedly calling them "her favoritest people in the world"

They're very clingy to little!Rumi, if Rumi drops when they're out on their own, they are speeding home and they keep a tally of whose arms Rumi runs into first (Rumi has caught onto this, and will try to keep it balanced.)

They watch horror movies with Rumi and Bobby if Rumi isn't small. Usually sitting on the floor with cheap pizza and microwave popcorn. (Mira doesn't get the appeal, but Zoey insists it's a part of the experience.) Zoey isn't scared at all, Mira is scared but trying to pretend she isn't, Rumi is scared and isn't shy to admit it.

One valentine's day, Mira enlists Rumi to make Zoey like 500 candy grams because Zoey once offhandedly commented that she never got one throughout school.

Sometimes during Huntrix board meetings, Zoey will use her notebook to pass notes and doodles to Mira as if they're high schoolers in class. Rumi and Bobby usually catch onto this and cover for them by taking over most of the talking

If someone says something stupid, you bet they'll mimic it after the meeting and giggle amongst themselves

They have a secret private tiktok where they film silly trends with each other

Thinking of people who are kind to her as her stand-in parents/older siblings, because her own leave so much to be desired

Being scared at night, but realising that she is safer on the street than if she is sensitive and vulnerable (she doesn't know what "regressed" is just yet) around her parents so she stays out. (And secretly hoping that they'll come looking for her.)

Celine isn't a perfect parent, but I do think she loves Rumi and the girls...So here is her as the girls' caregiver!

She was Miyeong's caregiver first, when the Sunlight Sisters were still active.

She was the softest caregiver to Miyeong, always gently laughing whenever Miyeong misbehaved and lowkey spoiled her

After Miyeong is gone, she grieves so quietly that Rumi never found out that her mom is a little.

Until post-canon when she finally reveals this to Rumi. Everyone is wholly shocked.

It takes a long while for Huntrix to trust her again, but she is very patient and eager to improve, so they eventually do let her back into their lives.

With Huntrix, she is stricter but still gentle, gives clear rules and rewards. Buys a bunch of toys for the girls, allows them to pick one out for good self care and/or behavior. If she does need to reprimand the girls, it's usually just "think about what happened and tell me how you can do better next time"

Called Rumi "precious one" since Rumi was a baby, stopped when Rumi reached her teens. Goes full speed ahead with the nickname now.

Tried coming up with some soft nickname for Zoey and Mira, but didn't find ones she liked so she calls them my dearest (and Mira dearest and Zoey dearest if they're little together)

They all call her Auntie Celine

Constantly wants to fight Mira's parents. Probably has fought Mira's parents at some point. (She would 100% do it again.)

Bad at initiating touch, but will pat the girls' heads in passing or patch up their wounds gently.

Very verbally affectionate though. She realises that her lack of it towards Rumi in her teens set Rumi up for lots of self-hate, so she's overcompensating. Always says "I love you", "I'm proud of you", "you are so precious to me" to the girls.

She loves talking Sunlight Sisters with Zoey, for the first time, not to wallow in her grief, but to see the way Zoey lights up when she gets to know more about her favorite group

Braids all the girls' hair, not just Rumi's.

Once she really loosens up to caregiving again, she sings her old Sunlight Sisters songs to the kids, even some unreleased ones. Super exciting for Sunlight Sisters Superfan Zoey and "Never Learned About Her Mom" Rumi. Also very appreciated by "Had a Terrible Mother" Mira.
